~Jay's POV~
The only thing I thought when I heard "Come in" was, how was he talking if he didn't have a mouth?
"Slendy, I have something to tell you,"
"Yes, what is it Jeff?" He somehow said.
"Well, when Jay was a child she could go into the forest, and you know how human children can't come into the forest, it's just not physically possible."
"How do you know this 'being' isn't lying? Remember the last human we trusted?"
and then maybe...
"This is different, I trust her..."
"Well, you don't run things around here do you?"
"Slendy, I have a good instinct. She's not lying!" He began to yell.
I watched him tighten his grip on his knife, a small fire in his eyes, his breathing got heavier, and I unconsciously backed away.
Slendy flew up, kicking his chair to the back of the room.
"Dang it Jeff! Get that freaking mortal out of here!" Before I knew what was happening, Jeff's knife was in the wall behind Slendy.
Jeff shoved me out the door and slammed it shut, leaving me in tears on the ground. I heard footsteps pacing down the hall, getting louder as they came towards me.
"Hey Jay," I looked up with tears in my eye seeing Ben.
Without asking he plopped himself down next me, wrapping his arm over my shoulder.
"Hey it's gonna be fine, uh, let's just say Jeff and Slendy don't get along well,"
"Oh," I said wiping at my eyes.
"Jay?"
"Yea?-" I felt an icy hand around my face, my head turning and facing his.
His cold mouth pressed against mine, I held my breath struggling, yet nothing was happening. The door flew open and Jeff appeared. Ben was suddenly across the hall, and Jeff actually put the knife to MY throat.
"What the heck Jay?"
"Can't really speak with the pressure on my neck," I mumbled.
He sighed and pulled the knife away. I immediately went to my tattletale instinct that was tucked away deep within me.
"Ben's fault!" I yelled, almost laughing realizing that I blurted his name.
"Oh, well, I didn't even notice the person I threw was little Ben here,"
"Oh shi-" Ben was already running down the halls, Jeff right on his heels.
I stood up, slowly walking behind them, but turning once feeling a tap on my shoulders. I saw Slendy standing there, towering over me. I slowly back away, almost breaking into a sprint, but he grabbed my wrist and held me still. My body turned to ice, and I froze right where I was.
"Jayden, I'll give you one chance here, and if you end up being a screw up like the last guy, I swear on Jeff's life I will freaking stab you with a needle of heroin. I don't give a fuck if that doesn't sound like torture, but I'm not aloud to mention what we'd do after that,"
"Y-Yes sir..." He let go of me and I ran down the halls, back into the main entrance.
Ben was plastered to the wall, ropes around his ankles, wrists, and neck. The wall had knives in it, surrounding his body. There was a line behind Jeff, everyone holding a clean, sharp knife. Jeff was focusing on him, getting ready to chuck the knife at what I think was to be Ben's eye. I jumped in front of Jeff and pushed his hand down.
"Don't, just let him hang there for a few days or something."
Everyone moaned and dropped the knives to the floor, going back to video games and T.V. and such.
"Thanks Jay, I really thought..." Ben started to say.
I picked up one of the knives and through it at Ben, stabbing it into the wall, close enough to his head that it cut his cheek open.
"Just shut up Ben, and if you ever try and kiss me again I won't just scratch you with the knife," I said turning my back to him, seeing everyone laughing.
"Jay you have mad knife skills," Jeff said, laughing his butt off.
I walked up to Jeff and asked him if we could talk in his room or somewhere private. We walked up to his room and shut the door behind us.
"Jeff I have a question," I said walking around his room, looking at the little trinkets he had.
"Okay, what is it?"
"Why did you get so upset when Ben kissed me."
"I... I guess I just, um... Do I have to answer this question?"
"Hey, I'm not the one that said I have good knife skills," I replied, crossing my arms over my chest.
"I don't know. I just, well, %$#@." He started cursing off the hook. My eyes widened, and he cuffed his hand over his mouth.
"Look, I'm tired of reality, and I'm sure you're tired of these people. I'm gonna need a place to stay,"
His already wide opened eyes widened more. He nervously looked around.
"We don't have any extra rooms..."
"Fine by me," I threw myself onto his bed.
"You might wanna move." I felt something hard underneath my back, so I quickly jumped up.
Jeff pulled the sheets back revealing knives and other sharp weapons.
¨Wow, you have a lot of weapons... Can I have one?¨
¨Sure just pick one.¨
I was looking through the knives when I saw what looked like a hunting knife, it was small but it had big blade. It was perfect.
¨You like that one?¨ Jeff said peeking over my shoulder.
¨Yeah it's cool,¨ I said quickly turning around and throwing the knife, slicing of a piece of Jeff's hair off, stabbing into the wall.
¨Jay!¨
¨Yes?¨ I said giggling.
I walked over and pulled the knife out of the wall.
¨Jeff, you never really answered my question about why you got so upset when Ben kissed me.¨
¨Jay I... I like you.¨
I looked at Jeff with wide eyes.
¨You... Don't feel the same way do you? I knew if I told you the truth I would make a fool of myself."
¨God I'm such an idiot.¨ I replied.
Jeff kept shouting at himself so I decided to do what I have been wanting to do since the first time I saw him. I walked over to Jeff putting his face into my hands, pressing his mouth against my lips.
¨I like you too,¨ I said wrapping my arms around his neck.
