As we were walking I was watching Lucy very closely, since we left the mayors office she had been acting a bit strange, but I didn't want to say anything while we were in the village, but now that we are in the forest I think it's a good time to ask her what is wrong,
"Hey, Lucy," I asked as we came to a stop in a clearing with a beautiful view of a waterfall,
"Yeah Mira, something on your mind?" Lucy asked as she started to walk around while mumbling under breath, by the looks of it I think she might be setting protection spells up as the sun started to set.
"Yeah, I was wondering how you knew that if we went East, we would fall into a trap? Also, how did you know that the actual base was North?" I asked as Lucy finished doing the protection spells and started to help us set up camp.
*Third P.O.V*
Lucy looked at Mira once the question was asked before Lucy answered she snapped her head to the side as if she had heard something. Everyone went silent, as they watched Lucy slowly walk towards where she heard the sound
"Come out I know your there" she stated once she got close to a bunch of trees, she had her arms crossed as she waited. After a few seconds someone walked out from behind the trees, he had orange slick back hair, and he was wearing what looked like a business suit, and on his forehead was a strange mark (the one in the picture, up the top).
"How did you know that I was watching you?" he asked in a husky voice trying to seduce Lucy, of course, he couldn't see her guild mark because she had in hiding with her arms folded.
"It's quite simple really, you may not have noticed but I had a spirit follow you since you started following us" She stated as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Of course, as soon as she said a great black dog leapt out from behind the same tree that the dark wizard was hiding behind.
"How the hell did I not notice a great black dog following me" the dark mage said as he let out an aura of darkness that had the Strauss family almost falling to their knees if it wasn't for the pure gold aura that Lucy produced to fend off the aura as it tried to knock them all unconscious. To say the dark mage was surprised would be an understatement,
"How are you doing that, no-one has ever been able to counter my dark aura that knocks people unconscious," he asked while trying to increase the pressure of his magic, of course, it didn't do anything to Lucy's barrier as she held strong. Lucy signalled her spirit to knock the man unconscious, once that was done she let down the barrier and dragged him to a tree, where she tied him up.
"Thank you, Lupus, you were a great help, you can return to the spirit world if you want to" Lucy stated as she scratched behind the wolf's ears. With a nod of his head, Lupus disappeared back into the spirit world.
*Lisanna P.O.V*
After the wolf who Lucy called Lupus disappeared into a shower of sparkles, Mira started to cook dinner as the sun had already set and there was a fire going.
"So, now we know that their guild is definitely in this forest and that we are also very close otherwise they wouldn't have sent ugly over here to check us out" Lucy said as she jabbed her thumb at the mage tied to the tree which resulted in him yelling 'Hey' which had us all cracking up with laughter. After a while the laughter dies down to just giggles then to just smiles, I must say it is enjoyable to be on a mission with Lucy, seeing as she always goes on solo missions. I don't understand how people could call her weak and a slut, I mean the clothes that she is wearing now are amazing, she looked like an assassin.
