Again~A Klance Fanfiction

Authors Note/Prolouge

I decided to write a fan fiction based off of Voltron because I've been meaning to do so for a while and...well...you know me!
Basically if you haven't read anything else I make it's gonna be depressing at some points but I hope to make it better than a oneshot would be.
Let's get on with the Prologue
YES FOR ONCE THE PROLOGUE ACTUALLY NEEDS TO BE READ TO KNOW THE STORYLINE

Lances POV
The Galra Empire has struck the Lions once again but without the ship present we are unable to form Voltron.

"Hunk, you go for the back side and Shiro, I'll take the front, you cover!" I yell making sure everyone can hear me from their lion over the noise of all the chaos. Allura and Keith have already made their way inside to try and defeat Hagar and Zarkon hopefully for the final time. The rest of the team just has to work on distracting the Ship so they shoot at the Lions while Shiro covers the entrance of Allura and Keith so they can get out quickly if need be.
"Lance, I don't think I can hack into
the technology this time so Shiro
keep a close eye on Keith and Allura!"
I can hear Pidge yell.

Suddenly Alarms can be heard over the Receiver assuming they are coming from Pidges Helmet.
"Guys this is bad! From what I can track the Galran soldiers have made their way into the control panel Allura and Keith are in!"
Pidge yells nervously.
This is bad, this is really bad, the alarms appear to not be stopping and the other paladins are already injured due to the impact of the hits.

I decide to do what I need to do,
"Guys I'm going in, Shiro take my cover and Pidge keep trying to hack the technology!"
I quickly steer my lion towards the entrance, ignoring Shiro and Hunks comments telling me how dangerous my actions are.
I just need to know if they are okay...
If Keith is okay.

The thoughts linger through my head as I quickly leave my lion and run down the halls of the ship, frantically looking for them.
They said the control panel would be in the room A13D
as I scan the numbers I quickly find A13D, destroyed.
The control panel is broken and the walls have holes in them,
Keith!
I enter the room frantically searching for Keith or Allura.
I find Allura under a pile of rubble.
"Allura are you okay!" I say rushing to her side.
"I'm..I'm okay Lance I've sent a signal and Shiro will come to bring me to the lion to abort mission but...Keith's Signals aren't working...I don't know where he is"

Those words hit me like a truck but it wasn't time for questions.
I quickly pulled Allura out to run back to Shiros lion, I couldn't risk Shiro getting caught by a galra solider.
After Allura is in the lion I run back, but my vision is quickly blurred due to tears impairing my vision,
Please let him be alive.

Going back to the room I look around for anything, a sign.
It wasn't until I spotted a hand under the destroyed control panel...Keith!
Pushing away the ruble left the sight of a bruised bloody body with...a shot in his chest.

"L-Lance" Keith forces out.
"Keith! Keith Oh my God how did this happen! where did the-" I'm cut off by a pair of lips firmly pressed against my own. I'm shocked, but I kiss back,

After pulling away I look into his eyes, they're not as bright as they used to be, hair a mess, face bruised and beat up.
He smirks,"Go get 'em, Sharpshooter.." he whispers before closing his eyes.

"Keith...Kei...No...no stop...Keith look at me..." I manage to get out before sobbing.
Everything's gone
My world is gone
Keith is gone...
