“I want to live a life conducive for living. A life to teach me the things I must and needed to know. Not the things I don't need, but you just want me to learn. I don't want to hear coaxes and false flattery nor abusive and disturbing words as I grow to maturity. Rather, I want to be buoyed up by encouraging words and be brought away from darkness through proper guidance and discipline. Teach me proper politics, honest living, and responsive culture, not corrupting thoughts, deceiving demeanor, and indifference. Then plant in me God's Word. Lastly, and the most important of all, never forget to teach me things about God.”
