Philip was in the jeffersons basement, getting ready for the funeral for his mother. He wore an all black suit and his hair was down and straightened. Philip felt so upset about his mother's death and so did everyone. He quickly fixed his hair He sighed and went upstairs

It was quiet and the air was thick. His aunt Angelia, was eating breakfast. She looked so depressed and sad since her eyes were red and puffy and she's been wearing all black the entire week. When He asked her why, she responded "because Philip when your an adult and someone you love dies you wear only black until your grief is over." Philip decided to do the same to show his grief towards his mother . Jefferson was wearing a normal black suit and was reading the paper which mentioned Eliza on the front page, which made Philips eyes start burning with tears. His sister, also named angelica, was helped Martha do the dishes.

Unlike everyday no one was smiling.

"S-so how was everyone's sleep?" He asked, regretting it as everyone looked at me and no one answered except for aunt angelica. " it was a slow night for all." She sighed and kept eating her food. Philip sat down at the table next to jefferson. Martha gave him his food, but he didn't eat it. He knew he had to but only ate dinner since it was his favourite meal. Eating made him remember his mother's eaten organs which made him start to cry. "Hey Philip?" Jefferson said. Philip looked over at him trying not to cry and responded "y-yes?" "If you ever need help, ask one of the adults or even your sister." Jefferson sighed. Philip nodded and kept his eyes on his food until a few minutes later.

My aunt Peggy showed up in her black dress and my other aunt came and hugged her. They both were now crying "I'm sorry eliza" they said in unison. Philip decided to hug them both fighting back tears "it's okay aunties, but we have a funeral to go to.." he said. They nodded "your right philip there's a funeral.there will be sad times but we must go past them." They both said in different ways.

Jefferson started the car and Martha sat beside him in the passenger seat as the other got squished together in the back. Like the thick air traveled with them, the car ride was quiet the only sounds were from my sister sobbing. "Hey angelica it'll be okay. It'll be a ten minute thing and then we can come back home." He said . He was just reappearing the things his mind were screaming at him to do other than 'you need to save your family. No this is wrong' and others. They got the the graveyard shortly after and they all staggered into the church.

The pastor started saying things like "ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. May she live in peace amen." Philip couldn't help but cry along with his sister and aunt Peggy. Until he was called up to do a speech. He sighed a shaky sigh and walked up looking down at his mother's ashes "n-n-now I know were all h-here because of my mother...a-a-and I'm so sad and h-heartbroken about this. I-I found h-her...I was attacked..I feel so awful. I-" he got cut off by bursting into tears and Jefferson pulling him aside and continued his speech.

By the end tissues were handed around to everyone. They thought about making this a public funeral but they decided not to have that. They were the only ones that were related to Eliza there, along with a few of her friends. They all did a few more prayers. And everyone left except for the six of them. They watched as Eliza's ashes were buried. They were all in tears , even jefferson who was a tough man.

After they went back home philip stayed outside a bit just to take a breather. "Mom...I don't know who did it but I'll find them" he said to himself. The he looked at a group of boys walking up to him. The boys chuckled "so your the all mighty philip Hamilton who's mother died?" They asked. "Y-yes I am, W-why do you ask?" He responded before they laughed "go eat your stomach out" they said and walked off, laughing like they were baboons. That sentence made Philip run into the house, crying heavily.

He ran into the bathroom as they asked if he was okay. He locked the door behind him and he slid down the doors "why mom...why her?" He asked himself, shaking. He couldn't understand why would they kill his mother? Why HIS MOTHER!? He started growing suspicion. "H-how did they know about that? I-it wasn't-" he said before crying again. 'It wasn't on the paper or news. How do they know about the stomach?' He thought to himself. He felt a sudden boost in his confidence. He stood up and looked in the mirror and somewhat aggressively said "they know who did it. They know" he repeated that for awhile "it couldn't be them,so who told them?" He asked himself before Peggy bursted into the door. He looked at her "PEGGY I COULD'VE BEEN PEEING WHAT THE HECK!" He yelled in shock. All Peggy said was a simple "are you okay?" He looked extremely confused
"You can't jus-"
"Are you okay?" She repeated
"Uhh-yes I'm fine" he said
"Okay that's good" she sighed relief
"Are you?" He asked her looking at her like she was insane
"What kind of question is that?"
