02. THE BRAWL WHERE IT BEGAN !
NICOLAS STOOD BEHIND REGGIE AND MOOSE, who had lead the Bulldogs over to the Andrews' residence along with pizza. Truthfully Nico did not know why he was brought here as he wasn't involved with the Red Circle (he had to watch over his twelve year old brother, and his mom wanted him home immediately after practice) but he wasn't going to decline free pizza, and his parents and brother were over at the Town Hall. Reggie rang the doorbell, and a confused Archie followed by Veronica opened it.
"Reggie?"
"Can we come in?" Reggie asked, although didn't wait for an answer as he just barged past him, the rest of the Bulldogs following.
"Hey, Andrews."
"Hi, Nico."
The group made themselves comfortable by sitting on the couch and chairs in the living room, while Nico had opted for leaning against the wall, a slice of pepperoni pizza in his hand.
"To what do we owe this unexpected honor?" Veronica asked the group sarcastically, clearly irritated by the team that interrupted her and Archie.
"Archie could've told Weatherbee that hood was mine, but he didn't." Reggie stated, taking a bite out of his pizza.
Nico leaned over. "That hood was yours? Why the hell did you have a hood?" He asked quietly, and Reggie just waved him off and muttered a quick "prank" with a mouthful of food, making the boy cringe.
"In the Book of Reg,"
"Which no one cares about besides Reg," Nico added with a snort.
"Shut up, Nico. Anyways, In The Book of Reg, that everyone cares about thank you, that makes you a top-tier loyal badass. And uh, we were talking today and decided if you want to keep the Red Circle going, we're here for you dude."
"Who's we—"
"We get it, Nico, you're a mama's boy. We'll have you home before dark." Nicolas rolled his eyes as a few of the Bulldogs snickered.
"I—" Nicolas started to defend himself, but was cut off by Veronica.
"And not a moment too soon, Archie. Trouble."
Archie quickly made his way over to Veronica by the door, the Bulldogs in tow. Archie opened the door, and it revealed four Southside Serpents.
