Danielle's POV

"Muuuuummmmm!!!" I groaned, "I don't want to start a new school"
I'm Danielle, I'm 15 and I'm about to start a whole new school in the middle of a term. For god sake I'll have no friends! I've just moved from Portsmouth to Holmes Chapel, Cheshire!! That's like a 3 hour drive!!! For gosh sake! Way to ruin my life mum!!
"Oh well get ready, at least there's no uniform" she shouted up the stairs.
UUUURRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! I stomp into my room and pick out a red top with 'Freedom Of Expression' written on it in black, a pair of red skinny jeans and a pair of black boots. No before you ask I'm not goth or anything, I'm actually really girly but a new school means a new reputation. So I'm gonna trick people! Hehe! I smile to myself and quickly get ready before curling my brown hair lightly and leaving it down. I brush my teeth before I apply some light foundation, concealer, blusher, do my eyeliner and mascara and put red lipstick on. I look in the mirror. You know the new me is really good looking... Not trying to sound big headed but I do okay!?
I grab my bag, pack some body spray and a few random things to make my bag look fuller including my sketch book. Oh yeah I forgot to say I draw and I'm actually quite good... But I prefer to act to be honest. I take my phone off of charge them put it in my pocket and walk downstairs. I pack my lunch which consists of a salad pot and bottle of water and grab an apple for breakfast before leaving. I only live a 10 minute walk from school so I'm walking.. Alone... Great.
The neighbourhood isn't actually that bad. It's really clean, not much litter and quite quiet... No bratty kids screaming like where I used to live... THANK GOD!!!! While walking to school I take in a few things... Don't pass the ally with the smokers or you'll be offered a cigarette... Try to stay away from the 'populars' because one nearly hit me for walking the same side of the street as her!! Wtf!!!
Anyway I walked into the school grounds and stood where everyone else was stood, just outside the main building. I was lost I can truthfully say that! I saw a boy in a varsity jacket walking up to me with a smirk on his face, what could this idiot want.
"Hi I'm Ray, you new here?" He asks as I get my sketch book down to get my letter out that told me where to go when I first arrived at school.
"Ohh what do you have here?" He asks looking down at my book.
"Someone's business that isn't yours so piss off." I growled
"Ohh we got a feisty one boys" he smirked back to his friends who were also in Varsity jackets.
Then he knocked the book out of my hands and all the loose drawings flew everywhere. "Oops." He laughed before walking back to his friends.
WHAT A PRICK!!!!
I bent down and started collecting the drawings.
"Here I'll help... Ignore Ray he's a complete ass."
I heard a voice say as the voices body began picking up more of my drawings.
"Wow their good!" The voice gasped at my drawings.
"Thanks but their not" I said looking up at the brown curley haired boy. I was greeted by a huge smile and adorable dimples grinning back at me. Aww he's cute!
"I'm Harry!" The boy beamed at me handing me the lasts of my drawings.
I quickly put them back in the book and stuffed the book in my bag keeping the letter out before replying
"I'm Danielle... Thanks for helping but I'm a woman and I'm capable of handling a new school alone. I don't need some weird boy I don't even know to help me."
"Sorry...." He look down walking off.
I'm interested by him... He's not like anyone I've met before... He's different. Ah we'll forget him Dani!
I looked down at my letter... The reception.... I looked up... Oh it's right in front of me. I walked in and asked what to do. They gave me a planner with my timetable in and a map to help me know my way around.
I walked out and towards my tutor room. The bell had already gone but I'm allowed to be late... The receptionist said so.
I opened the door and a whole bunch of faces of different ages looked at me.
"I'm Miss Lyson... And you must be Danielle.. Our new girl." The young looking female teacher smiled at me.
"Yep. But it's Dani." I sneered at her.
"Okay sorry Dani, take a seat back there beside Dean and Lucy... Lucy seeing as you're year 10 aswell I want you to show Dani around for a few weeks... Make friends"
I walked to the back of the room and sat with Lucy and Dean.
"Hi I'm Lucy" I kind sounding voice said to me.
"Nah the teacher just called you that for no reason." I moaned back at Lucy sarcastically.
She looked down mumbling a "sorry"
Oh.. I upset her... Aswell.
The first two lessons went well but then it was break, because I had music before break the teacher let me stay in one of the practice rooms in the performing arts block. I sat at the piano and began playing a song I wrote called 'Frozen In Time'. Oh yeah I also sing. I finished the song when I heard clapping. I turned to see that Harry kid.
"You know Danielle, singing could be a career for you... Sorry I'm here but sir said I could come in too... I've got to prepare for my X-Factor audition next year.
"It's Dani and okay"
"Can you play Stevie Wonder's Isn't She Lovely?" He smiled.
I began playing then the most angelic voice I've heard began to sing.
At the end I couldn't stop clapping.
"YOURE AMAZING!!!" I beamed at him
"Thanks... Look can we be friends?" He asked.
Then the bell went
"Hmmm ask me tomorrow" I said walking off.
As I walked off I felt a pair of eyes burn a stare into me.
The rest of the day went okay except I do have detention this Friday for setting a students work alight in science. I didn't mean to I swear! It was fun trying to explain that to my mum though!
"Look honey I know moving was a big thing for you but acting like this won't make me want to move back." My mum explained.
"URGH WHY!!!!" I screamed as I stormed up to my room. I slammed my door and collapsed on my bed.... I better get used to it here then.
Great
But I do have more time to get to know this Harry boy.
