A New Home

(this is the only pov i will do in this story :))

Bucky's POV;
She soon fell asleep after getting into the car and who can blame her. After nearly being taken by Hydra and having to scale a building to escape. I kept looking at her through the rear view mirror. Natasha caught my eye.

"See something you like Barnes?" she said coyly.

I focused my eyes back to the road.
"Just making sure she's alright, turned out to be one hell of a night for her," I replied.

"I wonder why Hydra has been tracking her? Why they wanted her so bad?" said Steve to the group.

"Only bad things can come from Hydra wanting their hands on her," said Natasha, "Barnes will you keep your eyes on the road, I want to get back in one piece," she noticed me looking at (y/n) again.

I couldn't help but stare at her. She looked so peaceful, her (c/hair) falling gracefully over her (skin shade) skin, there was just something about her.

"I'm sure she will tell us what she knows when we get to the base," Steve said diverting the conversation from my awkwardness.
I drove until the sun rose high in the air, at last we reached headquarters.

The car breaks and the engine dies, you stretch and look out he window through glazed eyes.

"Nooooooo wayyyyyy."

Your looking up at a dazzling white building with a massive A on the side.

"But this is," you look at Natasha in disbelief.

"Your new home, until we figure out what Hydra wanted from you," Steve says to you, opening your car door.

You exit the car and Steve carries your bag, you watch the 3 of them approach the building before you decide to follow them. You look around for Corax but your unable to see him before you reach the lobby of the building. Probably a good thing that he keeps his distance.
You enter the building, inside it's huge, clean and very minimalist. You walk mid way down the hallway when Tony Stark turns the corner.

"What took you guys so long?" he mocked.

"It's wasn't as simple as we first thought," Steve explained, "Hydra where already there when we got there."

"Sorry I'm being rude," he holds out his hand, "I'm Tony Stark, but I'm sure you already knew that, and you are?"

"(y/n)" you reply shaking his hand.

"Well definitely no super human strength or skin triggered enhancements," Tony stated analyzing you.

"Tony leave it for the de briefing room, she just got here," Bucky said defensively.

"OK snow puppy don't get growly on me," Tony teased.

You notice Bucky's face grow angry he was about to retaliate when Natasha interjected.

"So Tony where's her room?"

"Same floor as you guys, at the end of the corridor."

"I will show her the way you boys go tease each other somewhere else," she chuckled.
She grabs your bag off Steve and you follow her to the elevator. You glance back round to see the other 3 leave the hallway.

"So I think the plan is that everyone is going to get some rest and then we are all going to meet in the debriefing room later on," she says to you.

You didn't reply as you were still in awe of the facility. The elevator doors open to the 4th floor of the building which apparently was the top floor.
