kristoff stood at a height of six foot seven, while brayden stood at a height of five foot six.

"why are you so tall?!"

"well, why are you so short?"

"i have short parents thank you very much!"

"well i have tall parents so your argument is invalid!"

ah yes, brayden carpentre and kristoff hjelmstad venting over their height again. after eight and a half years of dating, the two seemed to never get used to their whopping thirteen inch height difference.

"oh shut up!" the two yelled in unison towards the air, as if they sensed a third person watching and narrating their life.

the two were currently letting out their frustrations over a failed kiss they wanted to have. brayden was arguing about how he had to tip toe to the gods for him to even reach kristoff while kristoff argued about his back hurting for bending over so much.

"well my toes hurt and you didn't even do jack shit to close the gap!"

"what the fuck are you talking about?! i'm literally bending backwards for you so that you can even have the chance to connect our lips!"

"well try harder next time! stupid giant..."

the two huffed and parted ways, brayden towards the living room while kristoff remained in the kitchen to find something to munch on.

the vicinity was filled with tension, frustration and silence. kristoff snatched a bag of lay's limón chips from the top of the refrigerator and angrily opened it, shoveling a handful of chips into his mouth. he lets out a soft sigh and glanced over at the archway, seeing an apprehensive brayden standing at the entrance.

"can't believe we still get frustrated over this." kristoff said softly and chuckled.

brayden slowly stepped into the kitchen, looking up towards kristoff. "yeah... even after nine years." he softly agreed.

they both chuckled a bit before returning to a silence. they stood there for a minute before kristoff decided to walk over to brayden, a chip in his hand. he held the chip up to brayden's mouth and gave him a soft and loving smile. brayden simply rolled his eyes and took the chip with his mouth.

"we need to stop getting so frustrated." brayden said and kristoff nodded.

"yeah, i could just pick you up, like this." kristoff said and put down the lime green bag of chips. he wrapped his arms around brayden's slim waist and hoisted him up. a small squeal came from brayden's mouth as he was suddenly hoisted up by his giant boyfriend. his legs instinctively wrapped around kristoff's hips and his arms flung around his neck. as soon as their eyes met, the world disappeared around them. kristoff's steel grey eyes scanned brayden's face before landing on his plump lips. kristoff licked his chapped lips and leaned in to plant a toe-curling, chaste kiss. brayden returned the kiss with equal passion and moaned softly.

the two continued kissing, now with kristoff walking the both of them to the couch. he gently tossed brayden onto the couch and climbed on top of him, caging the smaller male with the size of his body.

"i love you and your short self, my princess." kristoff purred.

brayden rolled his eyes and grabbed his boyfriend's head, pushing him down so he could reconnect their lips. the two made out sloppily, their hands exploding each other's bodies until kristoff broke away, panting with swollen lips. brayden smirked at his work and caressed kristoff's cheek.

"i love you too, you giant dummy. now are you going to leave me hanging or what?" brayden replied and smirked. kristoff growled and leaned down to re-connect their lips, love and happiness radiating off of each other.

they made love to each other through the rest of the night with their favorite song playing on loop in the background, kristoff making sure that brayden was unable to walk in the morning.
