Roman's POV

I sat quietly in my room.

Posters stared down, from Snow White to Frozen.

I sobbed silently.

Logan's POV

"One for sorrow, two for mirth, three for a wedding and four for a birth. Five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret, never to be told. Eight for a kiss, nine for a wish, and ten for a bird you must not miss." A voice boomed as I stared in the smoke.

A flock flew away and I heard ten caws.

"Anyone?"
I froze up, "Hello?"
Silence met me, "Who, uh, are you?"
"Logan." I looked for whoever they were,
"Follow me."
"I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE." I yelled,
"Oh. Yeah." I felt a hand on my right shoulder.

I turned and threw my body backwards.

My glasses landed next to my hand.

I grabbed them.

Put them on.

I saw him.

"Deceit?" I asked,
"Logan?" He smiled,
"Yes?"
"Why are you here?"
"I... I fell."
"You jumped."

I got up.

Deceit didn't have those scales.

"Please, follow me." He walked slowly,
I followed him, "Why?"
"I need to tell you something." Deceit smiled,
"What?"
"You're a light side, you know? But you're here. If, by chance, you don't get out for... 2, 3 years, you develop wings. You're a 'dead' side. You can't get back. Cecil's a dead side. He was also the last dark side to stay by me. Virgil. He, uh, he was a dark side. He fell in love with Patton. But I was in love with him. Cecil abandoned me. Virgil abandoned me. I need to either change, or have a companion. That's where you come along. Logan, would you help me? I want to change, but I really can't unless someone helps me with it. I'm sorry if you don't... it's fine though."
We were at a cliff.

"Wings, you say?" I asked.

I jumped again.
