Chapter 1: Looking is Bad

Mackenzie's POV

I walk into my dressing room and I see Maddie on the couch. "You ready for your music video?" She asks me. "Obviously!" I say, excitingly. Rumer Noel, A.K.A. my dance choreographer, walks into the room. "Hey, Mackenzie!" She says to me. "Hi, Rumer!" I say back. "Ready for your choreography?" Rumer asks. "Can I take a little break and go to Starbucks with Maddie and JoJo? Please?" I plead. I was pretty tired.

"Fine," She replied. "But make sure to come back as soon as you're done, okay?" I was very excited. "Okay!" I answered. I turn to Maddie and smiled. "Okay, I'll come." She agreed. Yay! This will be very fun since I'm gonna get some energy from Starbucks before I dance.

We go to JoJo's house and ring the doorbell. I can see from the window Bow Bow (JoJo's dog,) barking at the door. I smiled and saw JoJo open it. "Hey, JoJo!" I smile. "Hello! Welcome in." We stepped in and went into the living room. "Guys, take off your shoes first. We just cleaned the floors." JoJo told us. "Oh, okay." Maddie and I agreed. 

We took off our shoes and put it next to the door. Last week I got a pair of new sneakers, and it is very cute! We both followed JoJo to her room upstairs and I heard Bow Bow following us. Maddie and I both went in first and sat on her bed. JoJo closed the door and locked it behind us, after Bow Bow came in, of course.

Bow Bow jumped on my lap and I petted her. "Good doggy!" I smiled. I turned to face JoJo and Maddie and we all smiled at each other. "Anyways," JoJo said, breaking the silence. "what did you guys want to talk to me about?" She asked us. "We were wondering if you could come to Starbucks with us," Maddie answered.

"Oh my gosh. I would love to!" JoJo replied. I kept on petting Bow Bow until she fell asleep on me. "But first, I gotta tell my mom. Be right back!" She unlocked the door and went downstairs. I carried Bow Bow and placed her on JoJo's bed. I walked around JoJo's room and saw a clock above her door.

9:56 am. I should be there by 12. Easy peasy. I looked at a door and I was curious to see inside. "Maddie," I told her. "I want to look inside." "Do what you want. I don't care." She replied. I opened the door and inside was so many bows! A LOT. I couldn't count all of them before JoJo came right in. "Hey! My mom said yes!" I turned around and said, "Yay!" JoJo's face looked confused. Is she mad at me for looking at her closet?

"What were you doing?"
