Gabriela's POV

"Gabriela, you're literally insane" Hayes tells me "I am not!" I shouted in response I stood there crossing my arms and pouting. "I don't think I should go out in public with you anymore" he tells me. "There's nothing wrong with me" I answered trying to act innocent.

"Pretty sure you made that girl cry" Hayes said "I didn't" I replied sitting down on this couch. "You did!" He said "Well, I wasn't going to let some random female flirt with my boyfriend." I said "so you were jealous?" He asked raising an eyebrow smirking.

"No, I wasn't but I wasn't going to let her be all over you like that" I answered, okay I was jealous. The girl was beautiful! "Just admit it" Hayes said why do boys always want you to admit you're jealous? "Was not"

"Fine! I was! Shut up already Hayes!" I confessed to him, he let out a chuckle as he pulled me closer to him. "What do you want?" I asked not looking at him "it's cute that you're jealous" he said shrugging his shoulders.

"Why me?" I asked turning to face him "what do you mean?" He asked "don't start singing" he tells me, he knew me too well. "Why me? Out of all the girls in the world why me? You could have someone that's prettier than me, smarter and isn't rude to random people." I say to him

"Well, you're the only person I want not anyone else" Hayes said to me "you're cute, stoooop!" I said blushing as he laughed.

"Gabriela?" Hayes said looking at me "oh, sorry" I said looking away "lost in thought?" He asked "yeah" I replied. "Just come with me so we can get away from these people" I added pointing to our friends standing behind us.

"Are you sure we can leave you two in a room alone together?" Nichole said wiggling her eyebrows "stop it" I said to her. "Stop what?" She asked "we are leaving now" I shouted walking away from her.

"Use protection!" Someone shouted after us, my face turned red from embarrassment. I quickly pulled Hayes into my dressing room trying to escape our friends.

"I am so sorry" I apologized to him "I don't know why you're apologizing for our friends" Hayes replied. "Right" I said, well this is awkward. "So" I started looking around the room "so" Hayes repeated.

"Uh, what are we?" I blurted out instantly regretting it, why did I do that? "Uh, Gabi, I honestly don't know" he answered. Could you name sometime more awkward then this? No you couldn't.

"Well, um" I started not knowing what to say to him "friends?" I asked, nope that's not what I wanted to say. "Sure" Hayes replied, he didn't seem sure either. "Well, since this whole relationship thing didn't work maybe we should just be friends" I said digging myself into a deeper hole.

Say no, say no, say no. "Agreed" he answered "can we just skip the awkwardness, we were friends before" he added "best friend actually" I corrected him "okay, fine best friends then?" He asked "yes" I answered.

"Hug?" I asked opening my arms up, he laughed and pulled me into his arms. I wish I could stay in his arms forever, but I couldn't we weren't together just friends. Just friends. Why couldn't we just say we liked each other? Maybe it was better this way.

"We better get back to the others" I said pulling away first "yeah, we should" Hayes said. I walked over to the door pulling it open "ouch!" "What's wrong with you guys?!" I shouted, there stood Austin, Liam and Justin awkwardly. Nichole, Isabela and Zoe fell to the floor even Chantel stood there.

"We just wanted to know if our favorite couple for back together!" Isabela said not making the situation better. "They made me!" Chantel said scratching the back of her neck. "So are you guys back together?" Zoe asked

"No, we are just friends" I replied crossing my arms "why not?" Nichole asked "can you guys stop! We are not getting back together! Just stop!" I shouted angrily "Gabi" Hayes said trying to calm me down. "What? They need to mind their own business!" I shouted looking at him.

"I know, but they just want what's best for you" he tells me "Well, I don't care what they want! We made a decision, and it's only between us" I say. "I know" he said again, I was beginning to get annoyed with him and everyone else.

"Can we just leave? I need some time to myself"

Chapter shorter than usually sorry! Anyways this book I feel like needs a different name now lol.

Hayes and Gabriela's relationship kinda reminds me of Shawn Mendes' song Why because they both like each other and know it but would say it.

Should I rename it?? Didn't edit because I just wanted to put it up so if there are typos bear with me lol.
