Gabriela's POV

"I don't like parties" I complain to my best friend "it's Austin's birthday, we have to go" Nichole tells me.

"What is Hayes is there?" I asked nervously "of course he's there, he's friends with Austin" she answered. "You're really helpful" I replied.

"But I have seen him in awhile" I added "well, let's find you a cute boy to make him jealous!" Nichole shouted grabbing my arm. "No!" I shouted back as she opened the door and walked in.

I already wanted to leave, before you walked through the front door you could hear the music playing from inside.

People were dancing, talking and singing along to the music. My friends had some how managed to leave me alone with Hayes. "What do you wanna do?" I asked him "what?" He asked

"What do you wanna do!" I shouted over the loud music "oh, I don't know!" He replied, we both stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. We didn't know anyone else here other then our friends.

"Stop hiding in the corner, have fun!" Chantel shouted grabbing my hand "I can't leave Hayes alone" I whisper to her, he didn't know anyone else here and we couldn't find our friends. "Well, looks like there are some girls that want to talk to him." She said pointing to a group of beautiful girls, suddenly I was feeling self conscious.

"You need to get over him Gabi, sometimes people aren't meant to be." Chantel said "I'll be back" I said to Hayes as he nodded his head. Chantel gave me a smile grabbing my hand and leading me elsewhere.

Her words stuck in my head "sometimes people aren't meant to be" the words played over and over again in my head. I had a crush on him since I was 13 years old, we dated since 15 and broke up a few years later. Were we meant to be, he was back wasn't he? Isn't that enough, he still loves me? Was it time to let him go, because I couldn't let him go.

I felt envious towards my friend Nichole's relationship, how did she keep Justin for so long? What does their relationship have that mine didn't, why does she have that I don't.

I could feel myself tearing up a bit, I wasn't going to cry here. "Guys! This is my friend Gabriela, Ivan and Grace." Chantel said introducing me to her two friends, Ivan was a tall handsome boy.

I bit the inside of my cheek as he looked at me up and down, why was I suddenly so nervous? "Can I help you?" I blurted out, why am I acting like I have never talked to the opposite gender before? "Maybe" Ivan said chuckling, on no. "Hey, Grace wanna come get something to drink with me?" Chantel asked her friend "sure" the girl replied.

"Don't leave me alone!" I whispered grabbing her arm "you won't be alone you have Ivan, plus look who's talking to other people" she told me pointing behind us before walking away. My eyes wonder to Hayes talking to a few other girls. He's not yours, he can do whatever her wants. So can you.

"So" I said not knowing at to say to the boy standing in front of me "You were Chantel's opening act right?" He asked me "yes" I answered "you're a good singer" he tells me "thanks" I replied, we both stood there not talking. How much I wanted to run away "you don't seem like you're enjoying yourself" Ivan said "not really the party type, or the type to go out of her way to meet new people."

He nodded his head, did that come off as rude? "I don't know if that sounded rude or not, but I'm really sorry, you can tell I'm not good at talking to new people, or boys. Usually is gets easier when you get older, but not for me." I rumbled laughing a bit tracking a piece of hair behind my ear, giving him an awkward smile. "I'm sorry, I think I talk too much."

"No, you're good" He said laughing "it's cute" he added causing me to blush, I was so embarrassed right now. "T-thanks" I said stumbling over my words causing him to laugh. "Hey, Gabi" Austin said walking over to me, thank god!

"Hey Austin!" I shouted giving him a smile "who's this?" He asked looking at Ivan "I'm Ivan" he told Austin "Austin, I'm Gabi's friend" he said, he had to say friend? He couldn't see that I wanted to leave this? "Nice to meet you man" "So Austin, where is everyone else?" I asked "Over there" he told me pointing to our group of friends. "Okay! Thanks, I haven't seen them, it was nice talking to you Ivan, see you around. Bye!"

"Bye" Ivan said as I walked away from him followed by Austin. "I could tell you really liked him" He said to me laughing "shut up blondie" I said to him "hey guys" I said walking over to my friends. "Oh who was that boy you were talking to, he's hot" Isabella asked "Ivan" I mumbled looking over at Hayes.

"It doesn't matter anyways" I tell them "why? If you don't date him I will" Zoe said looking. "Pretty sure he was into you by the way he was looking at you." Isabella added "it doesn't matter, I'm
Not looking for anyone" I said, wait why did I say that, I don't want Ivan. That's what I was trying to say!

"It could do you good" Chantel said coming up from behind me "it's fine" I said awkwardly "anyways, I kinda gave him your number." She tells me "you what!" I shouted "just talk to him at least" she tells me "I don't want too" I replied.

"Gabriela, just give the boy a chance" Hayes said to me, did he just say that to me? Was he letting me get away? Maybe it was time to move on, "Okay."

Hellooooooo did you miss me! IM BACK!!!! I still don't know what I'm doing with this book, but I kinda miss it a lot lol.

Plus a few of you said you missed it, so y'all better be voting and commenting or else lol I'm joking. Maybe. Lol

I also want to change the name of this book because social media doesn't fit anymore. I was think either Why, or maybe Back To You like the songs. If you have an idea tell me and explain it please and thank you!

Also I kinda regret using my name was the main characters name because I'm kinda growing out of my whole fangirl I wanna marry Hayes Grier.

Like I still like him and support him and think he's just the cutest little cinnamon roll, but not the whole I'm 13/14 and I'm going to marry him. You know what I mean haha

Someone commented on my group chat book saying that it was cringe, no duh it made that one like 2 almost 3 years ago. Like if you don't like it don't comment and just stop reading.

I don't have time for your stupid comments, somehow that cringe book got over 60k reads. Like wow haha, usually I don't really like to brag and stuff, but if someone is going to come for me when they have like 2 books with 10 read and equally as cringe. You can't say anything.

I also wanted to thank you guys for reading this and staying because so far seems like the reads/votes/comments have been going down. But I love you and all of you positive comments.
