Chapter 12: Bad Dreams

I slowly drifted off into a deep sleep…

*Dream*

“Mr. Clark he’s back again” I shouted!

Mr. Clark pulled out his gun from his side pocket. But before he could pull it all the way out.

*BANG BANG BANG *

“I’m gonna rape you and kill you like I killed your father!”

I looked up at him with tears in my eyes….. “No” I whispered

“You don’t tell me No!” he slapped me and then spat on my face.

“Let’s go he said pointing the gun to the door”

Got up and took the pepper spray and sprayed it in his eyes

I heard him cursing and shooting in random places. I went along side Mr. Clark and grabbed his gun.

I looked away and fired away…

BANG 1, BANG 2, BANG 3, BANG 4

I woke up gasping for air, and crying loudly. Two figures busted into my room I couldn’t quite see because the tears were making everything blurry. Then I heard my mom’s sweet voice and she hugged me tight. I looked to see the other figure behind her and it was Malian. Before I could say anything I fell again into a deep sleep.

When I woke up I saw Malian, My mom, and JJ. JJ said “Good Morning Princess” and I started to blush. Malian walked over to bed and said “Wassuupppppp booooo” I said “wassssuuuppp”. My mom had her hands folded and she stood in the back of my room. “Hey mommy” I said while waving at her.

“How you feeling?” she said while walking closer.

“I’m doing better…. I just had a nightmare of the whole accident” My eyes started to water.

I killed someone… “JJ your right I am a murderer”… “That’s not true bae you were defending yourself.” Everyone at school was calling you a hero. People even started a committee and spoke up about people like the one you defended yourself from. One girl said she was touched by the same guy, she thanks you with all her heart. I smiled gently and looked at the window. “So when you coming back to school?” Malian said. “Tomorrow” I said hopefully. “Can you get my wheel chair I need to use the restroom?” JJ pulled my wheel chair around to my bed side and then he helped me into the seat.

I rolled my way to the bathroom with my mom behind me. She helped me use the bathroom and wash my hands then. I came back in the room and put my wheel chair next to the window. I was feeling so much better than I have. JJ came and sat in the chair next to me and smiled and I kinda smiled back my heart was still ripped by our fight. Then he asked my mom and Malian to give us a second together. Malian being the friend she is walked out with my mom and then walked back in and said

“That was a second”

JJ and I both gave her a death stare but in a playful way she walked out with her pimp walk knowing that it was funny. Then JJ grabbed my hand and said

“Babe I love you so much and I’m sorry for being a complete fool and I’m sorry I was a horrible boyfriend wrapped up in my own pride. When I found you I didn't care about the condition you were in I loved you from the start and I still love you I’m just so sorry for making that stupid decision will you please forgive me?”

I paused for a while and then said “yeah yeah” and then I was embraced in his arms it hurt a little but then I got so caught up in his unforgettable smell that I lost all pain.

“I love you Princess”

“I love you too babe”
