"I'm goin' home." I say putting the tray on the table.

"You sure you wanna walk home with all that stuff they are sayin' on the news?" Ally asks.

"I'll be fine Ally." I say. "I'll even call you when I get home if it'll make you feel better."

"Please." She says.

"Alright bye boys." I say walking out of the bar. I still feel Merle's eyes on me.

I walk down the road when it starts to get cold. I left my sweater in the bar.

"Damn it!" I yell kicking a rock. I hear something in the bushes and walk faster. Oh I forgot to mention that this whole road is forest. All of a sudden it begins to rain and a truck drives slowly beside me.

"Get in the truck Missy." I should've known it would be the youngest Dixon brother.

"I'm fine Daryl." I say.

"You're gonna get your ass in this truck right now." He says.

"I can handle myself Dixon!" I yell. He puts the truck in park and gets out. He begins to follow me. "What the hell are you doin'?"

"Draggin' your ass in my truck." He says walking faster.

"I'm fine!" I say. I turn back forward and keep walking.

"That's it." Daryl says. He picks me up by my waist and puts me over his shoulder.

"Daryl Dixon put me down!" I yell.

"Na." He says.

"Grrr!" I say giving up.

When we get to his truck, he sets me down in the cab and I fall back.

"Get up." He demands.

"No. I ain't lettin' you in!" I say. He moves my legs so I'm forced to sit up. He closes his door and looks at me. "Take that smirk and shove it up your ass!"

"Yep. That's what a best friend would say." He jokes. The drive home to my house was silent. We turn down my road and notice we pass my house.

"You know for a kid that has lived down the road from me, I didn't expect you to not know where my house is from here." I say.

"We ain't goin home yet." He says.

"You always amaze me lil' Dixon." I say.

After driving for a while he stops the truck. We get out and I notice where we are.

"You still remember this place huh?" I ask.

"Ya." He says. We both lay down on the grass and look up at the stars.

"I miss bein' kids." He says.

"So do I. We used to come out here every night. I miss those times." I say.

"Missy." He says.

"No I don't care that you ran off with your brother but a warning woulda been nice." I say.

"I know." He says. I wouldn't expect him to say sorry so it didn't bother me.

"Don't do it again. You have everythin' you need here in North Georgia don't ya?" I ask.

"As long as I know I'm comin' home to my best friend, ya." He says and I smile for a quick second. We stayed there for a while longer then he stood up.

"Come on. Let's get you home." He says and I hop into the truck. It was a little bit of a long drive to my house and I found myself asleep as soon as I got into the truck.
