*chapter 2*

I had to go to the same hospital again just because I had broken my ribs.

This time I woke up to my mom crying.

"I'm very sorry Mrs.Denz, we can't do anything about it". The doctor said with a couple tears.

We had left the clinic once again.

Once we had gotten into the car, I asked what had happened an My mom said it was nothin ,an I would be fine.

*Next Day*

"Samantha, let's see that beautiful 16 year old". I could hardly walk down the stairs. I slowly step by step walked down the stairs in my sweet sixteen dress. It was a beautiful Navy blue high low dress. I looked in the mirror to finish my makeup and see that I had less hair than yesterday. I thought I was just seeing things. So I walked on and had a blast. Jay was there as well.

I saw my mom dad and Jake having a conversation together and was curious.

"Are you sure Mr.Denz, not to be impolite or anything but I like your daughter sir". Jay said with an serious expressions.7.

I was getting very suspicious. I thought we were just good in friends.

He came over an held my hand and said... "Hey sam how you feeling"?

My heart stopped and I gasped silently.

"Is there something wrong, everyone's being strange"

My mom slowly walked up to me and started crying, tear by tear.

"Honey... you have Cancer". my mom coughed and cried even more.

I was speechless. how many days till I was gone? when did I get Cancer? How did I get Cancer? How long have I had Cancer? so many questions flowed through my mind. I didn't know what to say. So I ran to my room.

I tried to ignore the fact that I had cancer. I unlocked my door after being in there for several hours. I walked down stairs and eventually started eating. afterwards I still felt pretty ok. do I went out to the back yard and took a swim by myself. It was so relaxing with nobody around. I started to panic a little, an ten some more. It got hard to keep my balance in the water. My mom heard the water splashing so she came outside. I was fine after a couple if minutes.

"You have to lay down Samantha, or else you could dislocate or sprain anything else in your body". My mom had told me.

*Knock-Knock*

"I swear these people can't leave a poor child alone. WHO IS IT"! My mom said walking towards the door.

It was Jake. I quickly acted as If I was asleep and played it cool.

"Is she ok, I wanted to ask her something". Jake said with a proud expectation. I slowly acted as if I was waking up from a deep sleep.

"Hi Jake, what are you doing here"? I said.

"Well the thing is I wanted to tell you I". Before he could finish I fainted, once again I woke up in the hospital. no one was in the room but Jake. he was asleep on the Chair next to me. I said his name a couple of times and he finally woke up.

"Why are you still here"? I asked in confusion.

"Because Sam, I couldn't leave your sight". he said smiling.

I looked around me and there were tubes and wires hooked to me. the doctor came in and had told me the results are in. I slowly asked what they were. Dr.Ivan had told me I had just about 2 more weeks to live and the Cancer was nothing he had seen before.
