Chapter 3

Y/N POV:

The next day, I quickly got ready to get to class. This is the first and last week I'll have in A class with Gakushū. I ran out of the house. I wanted to get there early.

Sighing to myself, I sat down in my chair. I took out my phone and saw that the time was 6:30 am. Geeze, school doesn't start for another half hour. I know I wanted to get here early but not this early. God dammit... whatever. "Y/N? What are you doing here so early?" I looked up to see Gakushū at the door to the classroom. "Oh hey Gakushū. I didn't think you would be here this early." I sighed. He walked over, pulled a chair in front of my desk and sat down. "What's wrong? You seem disconcerted." I looked at him, my head cocked to the side. "Uh..." realising what he meant I shook my head. "Oh.. don't fret." I said while waving my hand around. He looked at me, coldly. "You're being equivocating." He said as he stared into my eyes with his violet ones. His strong gaze made me turn away. "You can tell me." He said, taking my hand in his and rubbing the top of it, making my cheeks burn red. I sighed before finally telling him. "I'm being sent to E class at the end of the week." When I looked up, I was scared. His expression was dark. "Was that what my father wanted to talk to you about? You've not even been here a day and yet you're being sent to the end class." He growled. "Why?" I wasn't prepared for that question. "Well... it's because of what's happened in my past..." I said, telling him the truth slightly but not fully. "Is that all?" I nodded. "That doesn't mean we have to stop being friends... right?" I asked, scared for the answer. He looked shocked. "That's preposterous, of course we can still be friends." He said as he slammed his hand on the table, making me flinch. He sighed before taking my hand in his. "What even happened in your old home town to get you demerited into E class?" I shook my head, not wanting to say. I couldn't. I didn't want him to think of me as- "It's okay if you don't want to say. Just know that I am here for you." He said, cutting off my train of thought.

We talked for a while until students began to enter the classroom so Gakushū went back to his original seat. The teacher walked in and the lesson began.

~After School~

Another day was over, and that only leaves 4 more days with Gakushū. I can still see him after school on Mondays and Fridays though since my job gave me those two days off I case I wanted to go out with anyone. I was currently on my way home to get changed into my uniform when I bumped into someone's chest, dropping my bad to the floor. "You need to be more aware of your surroundings." I looked up to be met with those violet eyes. "S,Sorry Gakushū." I said, embarrassed. He simply chuckled before bending down to pick up my bag. "I'll walk you home." I blushed but agreed.

When we reached my house, I took my bag. "Thanks Gakushū! I should get ready now." He looked at me confused.

Gakushū POV:

Ready? For what? Does she have a date? I bet since she's so beautiful that any boy would be wanting to date her. What the hell the wrong with me?! This girl... hehe... she's changing me. "What do you mean?" I asked. She looked at me with a smile but I could see a hint of sadness. Is it a date? "For my job." She mumbled another bit but I couldn't hear. It's against the rules to have a job but if I can find out why...

Y/N POV:

"I can wait with you and then walk you to your job if you want?" He offered. I smiled and nodded, turning to unlock the door. When I pushed it open, I was greeted by the usual silence and darkness. "It's not much but it's Home." I said as I opened a blind to let some light in. "Can you look through the cupboards and grab a ready meal or something and shove it in the microwave while I get changed?" He looked confused but nodded. I thanked him before running to my room.

I stared at myself in the mirror, now in my uniform. I work in a cafe along side another student. His name is Isogai , I think. He belongs in a Disney movie. Walking into the kitchen, I saw Gakushū waiting. "Thanks for waiting Gakushū." I smiled. I noticed the ready meal on the side and walked over.

Gakushū POV:

When Y/N walked into the kitchen in that maid outfit, I almost had a nosebleed! She looked so adorable in that outfit! However, when she took the ready meal, I wondered why she was eating that until my thought were cut off by a phone. "Sorry, I've gotta take this." She said as she walked out with a, "Hello?".

She was taking a while so I decided to go to her room. The door was closed and she was talking quietly so I could only hear small amounts. "What?! Wait-..." "But I can't..." "I don't... but..." "Yes... I understand....." (the dots are bits he couldn't hear)

I ran back to the kitchen when I heard her walk towards her door but when she walked in I saw her eyes were slightly red and puffy. Was she... crying? "What's wrong?" I asked her. She shook her head. "Don't worry. I need to go." She smiled. I wanted to sat something but I'm the end I kept my mouth shut. We walked out of the house towards her job.
