Dear Paris,
My mom sat me down to talk yesterday, I thought it was going to be about the party we went to last night but she hadn’t even noticed I was gone. She asked me about you, and it wasn’t the general “How is Paris? Has she been making more friends since she’s moved here? How are her parents?” The questions were specifically geared to our friendship and our relationship with one another. She asked me if you and I were sexually active with one another and I answered no, I didn’t think she’d ever ask me that. She asked me if you and I were in a relationship, I said no again, but I told her I was in love with you. The last time I saw her look that sad was when our cat Rena died of Cancer, so I guess she doesn’t want me to love you. She told me that she’s worried about our friendship because of what your parents did to you. She thinks you’ll hurt me like you hurt yourself. So now I'm not allowed over and you’re not allowed over. She knows nothing about you and nothing about me. I have a strong dislike for Karen now.
