As I was walking up the school stairs I was deep in thought just thinking about revision for my test next week when the next thing I know I bumped into someone's chest.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry"
"Don't worry about it hun"
I knew that voice all too well, Colby Brock, the most popular kid in school, the most beautiful and of course the person who sits next to me in Science and Photography.
"Oh it's just you Colby, I'll see you in science."
"Hey, we have science now is it okay if I walk with you?"
I didn't say anything, just nodded.
•SKIP THE AWKWARD WALK TO THE CLASS•
This lesson by luck we was doing a practical which meant I could walk away from Colby, but today of all days our teacher Mr Payne decided that we should work with the person next to us. Great!
Although it was quite weird because Colby didn't do the practical he just sat there but he wasn't just sat there doodling like he normally does, he was staring at me and he didn't stop until I looked over.
"Hey are you okay Colby, you are staring at me"
"Sorry I was daydreaming and must have started to daydream when I was looking in your direction"
Worst. Excuse. Ever.
•skip to the end of the day•
I was walking down the corridor, minding my own business and blasting out tøp through my headphones when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I took one headphone out and paused the music to see who it was and to my surprise it was of course the one and only Colby, he looks like he has just come from PE as he had his hair falling over a bit of his eye and you could see the water coming off his forehead, in my opinion he looked very cute.
Suddenly I realised I had been staring at him and that everyone had left the school apart from me and Colby.
"Oh hey Colby wha-"
I couldn't even finish my sentence until I felt his soft lips connect with mine I was shocked but then I instantly kissed back, it was passionate and caring and it was like the whole world had gone into freeze mode. Until he pulled away and said,
"I'm sorry Y/N but I have liked you for so long now and you don't even realise how much I have wanted to do that. I love you"
Those were the only words I needed to hear and then I said something I know I will never regret,
"I love you too Colby" the smile that left his face after I said that will make me happy for as long as I remember.
Normally I'm not sure about most things in my life but Colby is the one thing I'm sure about, I am in love with Colby Brock.
