Chapter 6

Later that evening, I told Sakura everything, hoping she wouldn't be mad.

"Sakura, I need to discuss something with you. Promise me you won't be mad at me." I said nervously

"Ok, I promise...unless it's really bad." She said with an unsure look.

"So... JingujiSaysHeLikesMeAndIKnowYouLikeHimALotPleaseDon'tBeMadAtMe!" I said, ready for the worst.

"...Oh that was what you were gonna say? Well, its not like I'm that obsessed and give up my friendship with you for him." Sakura said and laughed.

"Thank goodness." I said and sighed in relief.

"Yeah, so tell me how you're doing? Has anything happened with Jinguji?" She said and leaned in curiously.

"Well, he asked me to be his girlfriend but I don't know if I should trust him..." I said uncomfortably.

"You like him right?"

"Yeah..."

"Then say yes if you really do like him!" Sakura said encouragingly.

"Ok, I'll tell him tomorrow..."

"No, tell him today at sunset. It'll be a beautiful scenery on the roof." Sakura suggested with force.

"Stop, you're going to make me blush." I said covering my face as I felt my face warm up.

"Good, you should do that when you say yes to him" She said then started pushing me out the door. "Go get Jinguji and say you need to tell him something important then come back."

            15 minutes later...

So here I am with Jinguji on the rooftop.

"Misaki, you said you needed to chat with me right?" Jinguji said leaning on a wall.

"Y-yeah... so umm... when you said you wanted to go out with me...did you actually mean it?" I said pausing every now and then so I could stay calm.

"...You actually considered it?" Jinguji said wide-eyed and walked forward.

"And what if I did?" I said blushing and looking at my feet.

"Nothing... do you have an answer?" He said taking another step. Take anymore steps and I'm gonna run for it...

"Umm...tell me if you were actually serious first..." I said stalling for time.

"Yes, I was serious. Now tell me your answer." Jinguji said and took another step. God, I'm gonna run.

I began to run but because I wasn't much of a runner, Jinguji caught up with me and grabbed my wrist.

"Don't run away and answer me... Do you want to becone my girlfriend?" Jinguji breathed into my ear and wrapped his arms around me from behind me, trapping me in his embrace.

My face turned red and I shivered because his mouth was right next to my ear.

"...Yeah" I said and regretted it the moment I said it.

Jinguji had cornered me on the wall of the roof. He brought his face closer to mine and I turned into a tomato.
