"I-I umm...we...I..." I stuttered but I couldn't think of a good reason. I knew something bad would have come out of doing this hear. What's worse is that Tsunami, of all people, saw.
"So you two are the type that likes doing it in public, huh? Gross." She said, scowling at us and left.
Syo was still looking at us in shock.
"S-Syo it's not what you think." I reason.
"Well I think it's exactly as it looks." Jinguji mumbled. I stepped on his foot. "Ouch! You're so mean..."
I readjusted my clothes. Syo just stood there with a depressed expression on his face.
"You guys can do it together and accept each other but...my love for Tsukiko is one-sided..." Syo whispers and his shoulders shake. What look like tears fall down.
"It's alright...Let's try seeing Tsukiko again today." I said, soothingly and rubbed his back.
"Will she want to see...me?" He asks me with no confidence.
"I'm sure she will. No doubt they've changed her room again. Let's follow Tsunami!" I exclaim and drag Jinguji and Syo with me.
As we catch up to Tsunami, we see Natsuki pass by her. He didn't have his glasses on.
"Hide!" I whisper loudly and duck behind a brick wall.
15 minutes later...
As expected, she went to the hospitals. We hid and covered our faces with newspapers.
Tsunami had talked to one of the receptionists for a few minutes and a nurse came and led her to the elevators.
I walked up to the receptionist and told her we were visiting my father. She looked at us suspiciously but let us go.
"Underground, eh?" I mumble to myself.
DING!
The elevator opened and we walked in.
DING!
We managed to catch up to Tsunami. She entered the room on the left. We hid behind chairs in the corner.
"It's dusty." Jinguji whined.
"Deal with it!" I whisper coldly
A few minutes later, a man with a white coat, no doubt the professor, opened the door and walked in swiftly, closing the door behind him.
He left as soon as he arrived. Tsukiko left a few minutes after too.
"Now's our chance!" I exclaim quietly.
We rushed into the room and see Tsukiko lying in bed. She seemed a little pale.
"I-Is she dead?" Syo said, horrified.
I walked over to the side of the bed and felt Tsukiko's pulse.
"She's alive....just barely." I said, quietly.
"...Can I have a minute with her?" Syo asks us.
"Yeah." I say and push Jinguji out the door and exit the room myself.
Syo exited the room 5 minutes later and smiled sadly.
"What did you do?" I ask, curiously.
" I just gave her something important he says and I see something glitter on his finger. Was it...a ring?
I smiled.
"Ok, let's go now." I tell them and take Jinguji's and Syo's hand.
Suddenly, I see Tsunami come out of the bathroom.
"Go!" I say quickly and run over to the elevator closing it before Tsukiko could see us and get in with us.
DING!
"Whew! We made it!" I exclaim. I began walking to the exit but Syo didn't budge.
"Umm...I'd like to thank you for cheering me up!" Syo said and smiled while twisting the ring on his finger around.
"No problem, that's what friends are for." I said and grab Jinguji's arm to show that we were all friends.
We walked out the hospital doors but Syo wasn't there. He was still inside and right in front of him was Tsunami!
"What are you doing here?" Tsunami asked.
"Uhh...Well..." Syo said looking away. I jumped in.
"We were visiting my father!" I lied.
"Hmm...Well, I'm going." Tsunami said and left.
"God, that was close. Thanks, Misaki." Syo said and sighed in relief. "Well, I'll be going now. See you tomorrow!"
"Ok, bye." I said, waving. Jinguji and I left the hospital and started walking back to the school.
"Misaki, don't forget I'm still here. Whenever Syo is around you always forget I'm here." Jinguji said, pouting.
"Well, he has important problems he can't solve alone."
"Is that the only reason?"
"...No." I deny and blush.
"Tell me..."
"He used be my crush... I don't want him to be unhappy I guess."
"I see...Well you're mine now." Jinguji said and gave me a peck on my cheek.
"Stop. I'm not forgiving you for what you did today." I said and turned my head.
"Aww...Why not? You liked it right?"
"S-Shut up!" I could feel my face heating up.
Before we knew it, we had arrived back at the school.
"Bye!" I said and ran as fast as I could back to my dorm.
(A/N: Sorry for the long and boring chapter. I couldn't think of anything to write. Ehehehe ^_^;)
