maya's pov
tonight is my first show at the house of blues and i couldn't be any happier. but i'm also nervous because i know that i'm meeting daniel for the first time tonight.
of course i've been listening to his band for a while and i honestly am a fan. and i've grown attached to daniel ever since he texted the wrong number which happened to be my number.
i also knew that he was bringing his buddy zach, so i would be meeting him too. i just decided to keep my mind off of it and focus on my rehearsal.
i was running over my song just the same and really getting into it. singing was my passion and so far my career was going on the right track.
i just wanted to have a good show and please everyone in the audience.

it was time for my show, i had on high waisted black jeans, a red tube top, and a jean jacket with cherries detailed on it. my hair was just down and i had some hoop earrings in for something extra. for shoes i just had on some white nike airs.
i walked out on stage and immediately i was met with at least 600 people. i just smiled and went up to the mike to say a few words before i started the show.
"hey everyone, thank you so much for coming out tonight. i am thrilled that there are so many of you here to hear me sing. i'm just a small girl from nevada here to live her dream. none of that would be possible without all of you. so i love you all and i hope you enjoy the show!"
i began singing my song sleep talking and i sang my heart out as i noticed daniel in the crowd. he had a giant sign saying "i'm your biggest fan." i just smiled and kept singing. i sang young and reckless, i bet, everybody loves you, keep me up, wait up, and i ended with just the same.
"this show has sadly come to an end, but you guys were an amazing crowd! i truly feel like none of this could've been done without all of you. so thank you so much for coming! i love you guys! stay tuned because i'm sure as hell not done yet! goodnight la!"
i went backstage to quickly take my jacket off because i was sweating. and then i made my way to the meet and greet.
i greeted and took pictures with all my fans, and some of them even got me gifts which was really sweet. the line came to an end and it was just zach, and then daniel.
"hi, you're zach right?"
"yeah, you did amazing tonight and it's always nice to return the favor. considering you're a fan of us, now i can proudly say that i'm a fan of you. you're an amazing singer!"
"awe thank you!"
i took a meet and greet picture with zach and then it was daniel's turn.
he walked up to meet me and he had a bouquet of flowers in his hand.
"i'm so happy to finally meet you, you were so amazing maya. you have one of the best voices i've ever heard. and these flowers are for you, the pretty flowers need a pretty girl to match."
"awe daniel you're so sweet." i said while i hugged him
the camera man took the picture while we hugged and i turned and stared at him.
"what? it was cute!" he said
i just laughed and turned my attention back to daniel.
"and zach and i would like to take you out for some frozen yogurt if you're not doing anything."
"just let me grab my stuff and i'll meet you out front."
i grabbed all my things and went to meet the boys at the front entrance. i was already falling for daniel even though we just met in person.
