maya's pov
after spending time at the store with jonah i learned that he's really fun to hangout with. he kept my mind off daniel having a girlfriend, now we're going to steak 'n shake before we head back to his house.
daniel seemed mad that i was with jonah, but he had a girlfriend so i don't know why he even gave a shit.
"i'm happy you went with me today." i said as we sat in the booth at steak 'n shake
"i'm glad i came too, you're way more fun then the boys. and you're less annoying." he said while laughing
"so what's up with you and daniel?" he asked out of the blue
"well i thought he was flirting with me but i now know he has a girlfriend."
"that was shitty of him to do, he's been dating vanessa for two months he shouldn't lead you on."
"i guess it's not meant to be or it would've been by now."
"did you just quote billie eilish?" he asked
"of course, i love her."
"me too."
"i would like to hangout again if that's alright with you." he said
"of course jonah."

we were done eating and on our way back to the house. we rolled the windows down and shouted the lyrics to as long as you love me by justin bieber.
when we got back i went into the house to say goodbye to all the boys. before i was about to leave daniel grabbed my arm which caused me to turn around.
"maya can we talk for a second?"
"daniel i have to go." i said harshly before exiting the house
i didn't want to talk to daniel because i was upset he was playing with my feelings. i decided to just ignore him for a while.
