Chapter 10- I'm Sorry .... What?!?!?
Farrah's POV
" Farrah we're here! Get all your butts down to the kitchen for breakfast " My mother's voice streaming down the house intercom was what I had to wake up to this morning. I looked up to the clock to see 09:17 flashing in bright red numbers ..... seriously?!
I turned over to face Drew to see his eyes fluttering open and meeting mine.
" Good morning beautiful " He sent me one of his award winning smiles.
" Hey handsome" I winked playfully. " Come on my parents are here waiting in the kitchen for us" I pulled myself out of bed and yanked Drew up with me or he'd lie there for another 10 minutes at least.
" OK OK i'm up now go get dressed " He chuckled swatting my ass playfully as i walked off. I swiftly sent him a evil gaze before turning and walking over to my walk in wardrobe and closing the doors behind me.
I quickly chose a pair of light blue jeans and a light green camisole and put them on, and then a pair of green pumps to match. Opening the doors I found Drew gazing at a photo on my wall.
I remember when that photo was taken like it was yesterday, I was 10 years old and me and Rio were hanging out by the lake back home in the summer , we were carefree then having our arms slung round each other and both grinning at the camera. I miss those times.
" That was one of the last times me and Rio were like that before he started getting deeper involved with his dad" I spoke as I walked up to Drew's side. He sent me a sad smile.
" I wish for you that he was still that guy that was your best friend , but honestly i don't think the guy we see in this picture is there anymore" He brought his arm up round my shoulder and we made our way down to the kitchen.
As we walked down the hallway leading to the kitchen I could hear my parents and friends voices chattering away with each other , I concentrated on listening to what my mother was saying and wishing I hadn't.
"Yes when Farrah was 5 or 6 she went through a phase of running round the house na...."
" Mother that's enough" I said sternly knowing what she was going to say. She turned round giving me a evil grin I knew all to well.
" Naked because she though it was freeing " She finished her sentence anyway.
"MUM!!!" I shouted frustrated.
" Awwh well I think five year old Farrah streaking is cute" Drew whispered into my ear and i flushed red even more.
I stormed over to the table and took the seat next to my father.
" Daddy make her stop!" I whined like I did to him when i was younger. Works every time without fail.
" Georgie leave the poor girl alone " He chuckled being used to me and my Mum teasing each other all the time.
" Fine" She pouted like a toddler before smiling up and Drew " So you must be the famous Drew that's got my Farrah wrapped around their little finger" My Mum laughed.
" He does not" I huffed trying not to smile.
" I kinda do love" He chuckled and I hit him in the shoulder. " Hey less of the domestic abuse, how can you hurt this beautiful piece of art?" He pointed to himself trying to act serious and failing spectacularly. I snorted and just turned to eating my breakfast.
Me and my friends chatted freely round the table informing my parents on how things were at school and my friends complimenting the house and all the necessities. I couldn't help that notice my Dad was not quite right all the way through, only speaking when spoken too and not joking around like usual.
