That's My Girl

It was the day after the world's most disastrous double date and Ah Si was outside, wandering the paths while looking for Shancai.

 Ah Si noticed Shancai and her friend Xiao You on a bench not too far from him. 

He started walking over there because Xiao You had left her bracelet with Shancai the day before and it had ended up in his car and so he wanted to give it back. 

He had also barely seen Shancai this morning because she left early to talk to Xiao You.

They had talked about the punching last night and though she wasn't very happy that he punched the dirtbag, she had kissed him on the cheek for his reasoning (he was badmouthing Shancai and making her friend visibly uncomfortable) and patched up his knuckle. So thankfully she didn't break up with him but he missed his morning wake up call and morning kiss.

He could hear bits and pieces of their conversation as he got closer. 

The conversation stopped as Shancai whispered "Is that...him?"

All three of them looked to see that slimeball flirting with another girl and leaning in to kiss her. 

With that action, Xiao You took off running while Shancai took off towards the guy.

Knowing his girlfriend like he did and knowing that she was very protective over her friends, he knew that she was steaming angry and a very small part of him started to pity the jerk in the blue jacket. Very small part. Practically non-existent. 

He stayed in the background so as to provide support should the asshole try to hurt his Shancai but otherwise he knew to let Shancai handle her revenge.

Of course the loudmouth never stopped talking and he heard his name and Xiao You's name thrown out a couple of times along with many degrading comments.

He observed his girlfriend's eyes grow angrier and angrier until she punched him in the stomach and held him up by his collar. 

She hissed a final warning to him before letting his collar go and storming away. 

He instantly dropped to the ground, clutching his stomach.

Ah Si fell in love with her all over again, seeing the fire in her eyes. 

He ran over to her and hugged her from behind. 

She gave a start but almost instantly relaxed, recognizing it was him.

He whispered in her ear "That's my girl."

She gave a smile and he gave her neck a light kiss before turning her around and telling her ,

"Go to my house. I will find Xiao You and Xi Men and bring them. We will figure out what to do from there."

As he went off to find his girlfriend's best friend and one of his best friends so that they could comfort her and deal with her cheating ex-boyfriend, he knew that that was the day that reaffirmed that he wanted to be with Shancai forever.
