Chapter 3

Alex's POV

Me, the boys, and Ava all piled into my car on our way to McDonald's Playland. We ordered our food and waited till our order was called. Once we were called, we found a table in the Playland.

"Play! Play!" Ava shouted.

"Eat your food first Baby Girl," I told her.

"Okay Mummy," she replied.

Me and the boys started looking for the food we ordered on the tray. Once we found our food and gave Ava her Happy Meal we started talking.

"So are you guys still in shock from the retweet?" I asked them.

"Yea. We are. I mean Louis Tomlinson, one-fifth of the world's biggest boyband retweeted it." Ashton said.

"I feel super honored to have someone with that amount of fame recognize us," Michael added.

"You like One Direction right Alex?" Luke asked me.

"Yea. They're pretty attractive and have pretty good music," I replied. Luke doesn't know that Liam Payne is Ava's father. He thinks that Ava's dad wanted nothing to do with the pregnancy and left me.

"Who's your favorite member Alex?" Calum asked me.

"Um I like Zayn I guess. I think he's attractive and has a killer voice." I replied.

"And I don't?" Luke asked with a pout on his gorgeous face.

"Awww. You know nobody compares to you, Lukey," I told him while giving him a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"I don't think I'm convinced. You're gonna have to show me." He replied.

"Will this convince you?" I asked then brought our lips together. We kissed for a minute before pulling back.

"Yea. That definitely did." He replied.

"Mummy can I go play now?" Ava asked. I looked down at her food and saw that she only had a few fries left.

"Go ahead Sweetheart," I told her.

Ava ran over to the Playland and took off her shoes and put them in the shoe cubby.

"Who's your favorite member, Lukey?" I asked.

"I like Niall. I think me and him would get along heaps. We both have a lot in common like our love for food." He replied chuckling.

"What are you guys planning on doing tomorrow?" I asked the boys.

"Nothing much. Just hanging at our flat. Why?" Calum replied.

"I was just wondering if you guys could possibly watch Ava? I would drop her off with my brother but he has a job interview." I told them.

"Sure. We'll do it." Luke said.

"One of you guys have to be up by 8 tomorrow when I drop her off." I replied.

"Okay. One of us will be up for sure." Ashton told me.

The boys and I talked for about 20 more minutes before we decided to get Ava and leave. I drove back to my flat so they could drive back to their place.

While the other boys were getting in their car. I was talking to Luke with Ava in my arms. "You know I would prefer you be the one up tomorrow when I drop her off." I said.

"Okay Gorgeous," he said back.

"My boss said he had pretty big news to tell me tomorrow so I'll tell you what it is when I pick her up." I told him.

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow Munchkin!" Luke yelled to Ava.

"Bye Lukey," she yelled back.

I put Ava to bed an hour after dinner. I went to bed a few hours later thinking of possibilities of what the big news is.

I got up the next morning, took a shower and decided to get dressed in some skinny jeans. For my shirt, it was a black tank top with pink flowers and then put on a white leather jacket.

I put white flats on after I did my makeup which was just eyeliner and mascara. I got Ava up, made her some pancakes, then got her dressed.

I buckeled her in her car seat and got in the driver's seat. I stopped by McDonald's to get a Mocha Frappé. I got my coffee and then drove to the boys's flat.

I knocked on the door and Luke answered. I handed him a sleeping Ava and a bag with some of her toys. "I'll see you when I get home." I told him then gave him a kiss on the cheek and Ava one on the forehead.

"Okay. See you later Beautiful." He replied.

I got in my car and drove to work. When I got there, I got my coffee and walked in the building. I took the elevator up to my office. When I got settled in, there was a knock on my door.

"Come in," I told the person.

"I have somebody I want you to meet. This involves the big news I'm going to tell you," My boss told me while standing in the doorway.

"Okay," I replied following him to the meeting room.

When we walked in, I saw Simon Cowell sitting in one of the many chairs. Right before is sat down, he stood up. "Hello. I am Simon Cowell," he introduced himself while shaking my head.

"Hello, Mr.Cowell. I'm Alex Pendelton." I introduced myself.

We all sat down and sat down and started talking business. "Mr. Cowell is here today because Teen Vogue will be doing an 'All About One Direction' edition in about four months." My boss told me.

"Okay but why am I here?" I asked getting kind of nervous because I have a feeling that what they are going to tell me next will require me to see Liam again.

"We want you to go on tour with One Direction to take pictures of them just having fun and being normal for the magazine. We want you to do it because you are possibly the best photographer at Teen Vogue." My boss says. My instincts were 100 percent correct.
