Surprise?!

Vivian's POV
     Today is the day I find out if I'm pregnant or not and I was so nervous what if something goes wrong? I need to know if I'm pregnant before I tell Ryan I don't want him to get to happy then me to find out I'm not.

   "Hey Ryan I'm going out for a little bit" he says "ok I'll be busy today anyways" I roll my eyes "your'e always busy" he chuckles and said "more busy than usual" I nod and go to get ready I put on a white t-shirt with music notes and some plain jeans with a few holes and a white beanie and fake glasses. I grab my car keys I kiss Ryan goodbye I pass Cody and he whispers "good luck" I just smile and get in my white Nissan Altima I get in and take a breath as I put on my seatbelt I put my purse in the back seat and drive to the doctors office.

    Here I am waiting for them to call my name my leg bouncing up and down and I chew my nails (its a habbit of mine when nervous). I hear the nurse say "Vivian Evegline" I stand up and smile she smiles back she led me to a room and said the doctor would be in shortly she gently closed the door. I heard my phone buzz it was Cody he texted "whats happening??"  I say "well I'm waiting on the doctor" then I get no answer. 

      The doctor walked in and smiled "I'm doctor Sid and I'll be helping out" he sat in a chair infront of me with a clipboard I said "alright". He said "so whats going on?" I say "well me and my fiance had well uhhh..." He chuckled and said "I understanding" i continue "we didn't use protection and I have been feeling sick the past few days". He wrote down stuff and said "alright I'm gonna take a few blood samples" I nodded he filled two normal sized needles of my blood and he said "I'll take these over to examination". I nodded usually it would take a few days but I told them who I was engaged to they started almost immediately.

   About 20-30 minutes passed and the doctor walked back in he looked a little nervous and scared for well....his life. He sat down and was quiet I said "is everything ok doctor Sid?" He sighed and said "well uhh.. Y-youre n-n-nor pr-p-pre-pregnant" I say "ok..." He took a deep breath and said "y-y-you have s-stomach c-c-cancer". My eyes widened I was in total shock I had no idea what to say he cleared his throat "is there a way to cure it?" I asked he said "there is but its in Seattle". 'Thats so far a way' I say "is it for sure to cure me?" he scratched his neck and said "well you have a 60% chance to survive" I nod I say "can I have a few days Then I'll call you guys back and let you know" he furrowed his eyebrows and said "of cource take a little bit of time-but not to much time" I nod and leave.

  I was at home after two hours I had a heavy feelig in my stomach and my heart 'what do I do-What about Ryan-What about Cody-my family-would if I die-What will Ryan do if I leave' My head was swirling in thought and questions. I went upstairs very slowly I walked in My and Ryans room and there Cody was sitting on the bed he was looking outside I closed the door.

     His head snapped to me he said "well are you pregnant-do you know the gender-when is it supposed to be born-" he stopped when he noticed I didn't move from the door at all. He said "Viv are you ok" thats when I couldn't hold back I slid down the wall my face in my head, tears streaming down like a raging river, sobs are all you hear. I hear Cody's fast steps to me he holds me as I cry he says "Viv are you ok? Do you need Ryan" I snap "NO-no I-I uhh...d-d-dont need-d R-Ryan-n" I take a deep breath and say "I'm not pregnant" he furrows his eyebrows and say "is that why you're crying?" I shake my head and say "Ihavestomachcancer" I rushed my words out he says "Viv talk slower" I take a breath in and speak as slow as I can "I h-h-have S-stomach c-cancer-r-r".

   After a lot of silence Cody says "is there a cure?" I nod he says "then why is this so bad?" I say "the doctor said there is a 60% chance I'll live" he says "well its a better chance than 50%". I say "well yeah-but also the only treatment is in Seattle" his eyes widen and he says "that not a problem you know Ryan will be there" I shake my head and say "Ryan can't know about this" Cody says "why not?" I sigh and said "because I may not survive but also I don't think I'll be good enough for him I had doubts before but now I have higher doubt's". Cody nods he says "do-do you want treatment?' I say "of cource I do!" He nods and thinks for a moment his mouth opens then closes and it opens once again "what if I help you escape?" I say "but if Ryan finds out he will literally kill you" he says "nah maybe just lock me up for a while with a little toarcher" I scoff and say "you make it sound normal" he just shrugged.
