The Future

And this is it!  The final chapter. Hope this  is all worth it. Thank you so much for reading this  and I hope you enjoyed Dark Stranger. This has been fun to write.  I just  kinda wrote about  what I imagined would happen.   So parts of this are kinda  my dream of Steven.

That being said, Steven if you read this part, please don't kill me. ;)

One word rings out and you feel your heart leap.

Guilty.

It was over at last. You're finally free. The nightmare that had been plaguing you every day was at  last at an end. (Y/e/n) would spend the rest of his life in prison. 

You step out the courthouse and take a deep breath. The sun shines on your face, lighting up your hair and sending golden highlights throughout it. The wind blows in your face lightly and it's  like a cooling embrace to you. You felt like you got your life back. And the future looked great.

Steven takes you hand and you smile up at him. You two have plans. You were going to move in together. You had decided not to pay your next rent at your place and just move in with Steven. You already packed all your boxes up and  had  already taken  almost all of  your things to his place.  You just had to go make one last trip to gather the  last   boxes.

"Ready to go home babe?" Steven smiles smiles at you, holding your hand.

You nod at him and take his arm as you to walk to the car. Your life was beginning now. You had finally  permanently closed the door on a very bad part of your past and now you were living the best part of your future with Steven.

Steven drives you two home to get the van and the two of you climb in. Then he heads to your place and smiles at you the whole time.  His  smile  grows  even more when you get there and you jump out of the car and wait for him. You take his hand and the two of you walk up to your place. You can hardly believe it, but this will be the last time you be there. You and Steven finish loading the boxes into the van, which doesn't take  long. You are so excited to start this next chapter of your life with him.   You finish loading the van and then go with Steven, locking the door behind you for the last time.

Your landlord comes over and smiles at you kindly, "Sorry to see you go kid."

"Thank you so much for everything," you handed the keys.

Then you  take Steven's hand and  happily go to the van and  jump in.  He  climbs in and drives to his place to take you home. Once he gets there, you and Steven take  in the last of your things  and  you lean on the wall.
