"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Seoul International Airport. Local time is 11:00pm and the temperature is 29°F!" I heard as I was woken up by the flight attendant.

"For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat......." She kept going on.

Once I landed and got of the plane I went to my terminal. Then to baggage claim.

I got everything situated an was ready to leave the airport.

As I stepped outside I was immediately welcomed by the cold air that hit my face and made it hard to breathe, as well as the the booming traffic that swept by, and the beautiful city lights that lit up the sky.

I was so happy and just wanted to stay frozen admiring the beautiful city, but unfortunately if I stayed I would literally become frozen.

"Damn it's so cold" I mutter under my breath as I hail a cab.

I realized now that twenty nine degrees isn't a joke. Being from California it doesn't really get that cold not like this.

As I finally get a cab I load my belongings and tell the driver my address.

I was going to be staying at an apartment that's slightly furnished with my belongings while I wait for the rest to get shipped from California.

Once I arrived I paid for the drive and grabbed my bags. I walked into the apartment and was hit with the new apartment smell.

I walked over to all my boxes and opened the one that said relax the box was filled with incense, candles, and books.

I grabbed a lighter and lit a vanilla bean candle immediately.

I then went on google and looked for delivery nearby I ordered Tteokbokki.

When I finished eating I cleaned up and was debating if I should unpack a few boxes.

"Na I'll do it tomorrow" I say while yawning

I walk to my bathroom and decided to take a quick shower instead.

Once I got out I put on my silk pajamas and get ready for bed .
