Fornax breathed in, stretching his arms up in the air. The air was thick even though Tamsin had the AC on high. The sweat on Fornax's back was cold when he leaned back on the leather seats that stuck to his skin. Fornax leaned his head on the warm window, True kicked the back of his seat.

"What?" Fornax snapped, he earned a look from his older brother who was behind the steering wheel. True had his arms crossed as he and Fornax glared at each other. They had been traveling for ten hours from their home city and True was not one for traveling.

"How long until we get there?" True was a tanned skinned boy with eyes that had the color of pennies. His curly, brown hair was tipped with blond hair that was sticking to his forehead. His legs stretched out in the back of Tamsin's car and the natural look of indifference that he held on his freckled face made Fornax want to reach back and rangle his best friend's neck.

"The hell do I know?" I earned another look from my brother, Tamsin had slight bags under his eyes, granted, he was the only one of them that could drive. Tamsin had probably enjoyed the quiet abyss of when True and Fornax were sleeping, which had been five hours ago because sleep gets boring and restless after a while.

"We're about thirty minutes out, Slater." Tamsin said, a yawn leaving him. Tamsin only looked slightly older than the two others that were in the car. He had the olive green eyes that he shared along with Fornax, and the other members of the Woodward family. He was only a shade lighter than Fornax who had dark olive skin and on Tamsin's right arm was the tattoo of an owl that had its home next to the scar of a gash that he had gotten at the annual Wellington parade tournament.

The car bumped on the interstate, Fornax bumped his head against the window. "Hey, Slater," Tamsin said. "Do you have all your stuff ready for your dorm?" True had picked his head up from laying it on his green backpack and nodded.

"I'm bringing half and Lev is bringing the other half." Lev was going to be True's roommate that True had made friends with when they had come down to Cincinnati two months earlier to get everything settled and visit the oldest Woodward brother, Cosmos.

That was the end of the conversation that was granted in the car. Fornax sniffed, Tamsin got off the interstate and passed the floating welcome sign for Ohio, next to the sign was a panhandler that was using magic to hold up a cup for change.

The skyline of Cincinnati hadn't changed since Fornax was last there, there were billboards floating through the sky and cars sped past magic small magic shops that Fornax was planning on going to and checking out what they were selling.

On the far side of Cincinnati, in the direct middle was the building, it was like a small city. The largest tower of Wellington, Calderon, looked out to the rest of the city and buildings. The clock was the eye of the tower that every one in the buildings around it could see.

Tamsin sighed, it was tired and worked. When Fornax looked at his brother, he was sneaking looks at Calderon too, True had his forehead leaned in the window, just to look at it closer.

"Let's hurry up and get to Cosmos's so I get have a nap." True turned off the intersection and began to speed down the street to Cosmo's restaurant. They passed Luce's, a fancy restaurant that was next to some boutique, where the mannikins were changing poses every few minutes as if they were actually posing for a photoshoot.

The drive wasn't very long, when Tamsin's parked the car, Fornax and True scrambled out of the car. Fornax hadn't realized his legs had fallen asleep from the long drive, they tingled and his feet burned. True leaned back on the door that he had just closed and gotten out of. They yawned, sleeping in the car was nothing like sleeping in a bed.
