"Try Me" (1)

Layla's POV: 

"Yes. Who will you be auditioning for?" Gale asked, sitting at her desk. 

"Carl's love interest." I say, without hesitation. 

"Ah. Of couse. You may begin." She says, writing on her paper.  

"Carl...Please. You're my only hope." 

"Ever since this...thing started, I've been afraid, but when I'm with you...I feel so safe." 

"Right. Well, You did a very good job, we'll contact you tomorrow and inform you." She said, shaking my hand before, I open the door and stepped out. 

I was nearly knocked over by Shelby, (My Bestfriend who came along with me) 

"What happened?" She asked, pulling away from me. 

"She said that I did good and that she's going to call me tomorrow." I said, holding on to my script, tightly. 

"I can't believe you get to work with Chandler Riggs. You are so lucky." She trailed off. 

"Why? He's just an actor.." I said, I never really liked Carl but I really wanted a part in the show and meet the other castmembers and they were having the audition so, I thought why not. 

I feel someone, hit my shoulder, making me drop the script papers. 

"Oh. Sorry." The man said, bending down and helping me pick up the papers. I looked up and saw, Chandler. 

"It's OK." I saw him look at the front of the script. 

"Carl's love interest huh?" He laughed. I felt my cheeks burn red. Why am I blushing? It's just Chandler. 

"Yeah...I just wanted to live the expierence." I said, taking the script for him. 

"If you get the part, We should run lines together." He said, smiling. 

"I'll think about it." I said. I knew that Shelby was freaking out but couldn't say Hi. 

"Oh. Chandler this is Shelby." I said, pointing to her. Her eyes flustered and her cheeks turned bright red. 

"Hi... I'm Chandler." He smiled and hugged her. I felt her body tense up. I giggled under my breath. 

He pulled away and said, 

"I hope you get the part..." He kissed my cheek and walked away. 

"LAYLA!!!! Chandler Riggs just kissed you!!" I knew he heard her. 

"Shut Up!" I said, back. I couldn't stop thinking about his soft lips on my cheek. I liked it.

"You're spending the night here. That way, when they call me. You'll be the first one to know." I said, pulling her into my house. She laughed before walking up to my room and turning on the T.V. 

"PUT ON WALKING DEAD!!!!" I yelled, brushing my hair in the bathroom, I hear the gunshots from Rick. 

I really hope I get this audition.
