"Mel calm down." My friend suzy says in a soothing voice. And me being the angry little ball of fire at the moment, just ignored her and continued cursing out the guy who vulgarly catcalled me.
" Yeah I'd listen to yer friend there princess." The douchebag smirked, he had the audacity to smirk! I lunged at him again, struggling with Suzy's hold on me.
"MELANIE HART!" I immediately freeze, and sheepishly look up at my friend. "Yes?" I meekly answered. "Let's. Go."she ordered, don't judge me! Suzy might look small but she's really strong, so I know when to back off.
"Yeah Bitch, go back to yer little friend. Your fat anyway!" The grotesque man hollered after me.

Oh. God. He has done it everybody, he has unleashed the beast I call my best friend. And this time he won't have anybody to stop her or me. She quietly walked back the calmest way possible and punch him in the nose he groaned hunching over holding his bleeding nose..... I might have kicked him in the balls for good measure...
After straightening each other's hair and outfits, we smile each at each other. "My lady.." I offered my hand with a small curtsy,
"Shall we?"
"We shall!" Suzy giggled and finally walked into the diner. God it smells divine! "Sooo... how are you and Brandon?" Su asked taking our seats.
"I think we are fine," We were not fine, "I mean he has been taking double shifts, but hopefully we are going somewhere for tomorrow." Tomorrow is my birthday after all I would appreciate him to at least say happy birthday to me I mean he barely has enough time for me nowadays.
"Well cheer up ok? I'll pay for your cheesecake, and it's a one time thing!" She told me pointing a finger at me.
"How did you even know I was getting cheesecake? I didn't even check the menu.." did she know how to read minds..?
"Oh shut up Beb, I'm your best friend I know everything about you." She scoffed.
"True," I point a finger at her.
"Hello I'm jess, I'll be your waitress today, what would you like today?" The waitress asks pulling out her notepad.
"A hot chocolate and two slices of the best cheesecake please." Suzy hates cheesecake that doesn't mean I can't have two slices. "Oh I'm sorry but we ran out yesterday.." Well that's disappointing, "Can I get it tomorrow for my birthday?" Wut? I love cheesecake!
"Of course any type you'd like specifically?" She interrogated me, I honestly don't care what type if it's cheesecake then I'll eat it. "Surprise me."
"IM HOOOMMEEE!!!" I burst through the door only to find Sherbet sleeping.
ON.THE.COUNTER!!
"SHERBET HOW DARE YOU! Do you pay for the bills?! Do you work for the money to pay for this apartment??" I scold her while simultaneously scooping her up in my arms scaring the hell out of her.
"NO. Don't think just cause your the first love of my life doesn't mean your getting special treatment!" I put her on the bed, where she just yawned and went back to sleep.
Lucky cat, probably slept all day.
Going back to the kitchen I made myself a sandwich while texting Brandon.
