* Jane's P.O.V. * ( 7 yrs old)
"MOMMY PLEASE I DONT WANNA GO!" I screamed as my mother packed her bag. "Jane please just get in the car and we will talk about this later." She said we were going on a special trip, but I knew she didn't mean it, she didn't love me enough to take me on a trip, I heard her last night talking to her friend saying she was so tired of raising a kid by herself and that it's my fault Daddy left. Then she talked about dropping me off at some station and heading to the airport for someplace called Maui. "Jane get in the car now" she said so calm even though she's about to abandon her daughter.

She finally got me in the car even though I'm crying and holding my teddy bear tight. She pulls over to a fire station and no one was outside, the station looked closed. She turned around in her seat and looked at me with the eyes of the woman who I thought was going to be my best friend forever. "Sweetheart this is for the best mommy is going on a small trip and these guys will take care of you and bring to a very nice place okay?" I shook my head vigorously "Mommy I don't want to go there please let me go with you!" She rolled her eyes "alright I've had enough," She got out the car and opened my door. I was resisting but she was way stronger than me, she put me on the steps of the door to the station and had my suit case in the other hand. She placed it next and gave me a kiss on my head, "sweetie I love you but this has to be done okay now stay here" she gave me one last kid on my forehead and walk away and got in her car and drove. As I saw her fade away down the street I cried and held my teddy like it was no tomorrow...
Cause to me...their might not be
That was the beginning of the rest of my life...
