Everyone is gathered around a table at the castle. Prince Charming was leading the discussion. Empress Anya and Mary sat next to Snow.

"I say we fight!" He demanded.

" Fighting is a bad idea. Giving into one’s dark side never accomplishes anything."

"Then how many wars has a clear conscience won? We need to take the Queen out before she can inflict her curse."

"Can we even trust Rumpelstiltskin?"

"Can we even trust his daughter?"

"Mary is our friend an ally. I would trust her with my life and the life of my daughter." Anya spoke with a powerful voice. She wasn't about to let anyone talk badly at her friend.

"I’ve sent my men into the forest. The animals are abuzz with the Queen’s plan. This is going to happen unless we do something." David goes back to the matter.

"There’s no point. The future is written." Snow said, almost as if giving up.

"No. I refuse to believe that. Good can’t just lose."

"Maybe it can."

"Snow, please don't talk like that. You must have faith in everything." Anya said, squeezing Snow's hand.

"If you believe him about the curse, then you must believe him about our child. She will be the saviour." David said. A noise is heard outside the doors. Guards enter, dragging behind them a piece of a tree. The Blue Fairy also accompanies them.

"What the hell is this?" David asked.

"Our only hope of saving that child." Mary explains, walking over to the magical tree.

"A tree? Our fate rests on a tree? Let’s get back to the fighting thing." Grumpy ignored the tree.

"The tree is enchanted. If fashioned into a vessel, it can ward off any curse. Geppetto, can you build such a thing?"

Geppetto: "Me and my boy, we can do it."

Blue Fairy: "This will work. We all must have faith. There is, however, a catch. The enchantment is, indeed, powerful, but all power has its limits. And this tree can protect only one."

Magic always comes with a price...

Emma, Henry, and Maria arrive at a large, white house. They head through the gate and up the walkway.

"Please don’t take me back there." Henry pleaded.

"I have to. I’m sure your parents are worried sick about you."

"I don’t have parents. Just a mom and she’s evil." Henry reminded.

"Evil? That’s a bit extreme, isn’t it?"

"She is. She doesn’t love me. She only pretends to." Henry says.

"Kid… I’m sure that’s not true." The door to the house opens up and a woman rushes towards Henry and Emma.

"Henry! Henry… Are you okay? Where have you been? What happened?"

"I found my real mom." Henry runs into the house.

"Y-you’re Henry’s birth mother?"

"Hey, I'm right here too." Maria waves to them before see could walk into Henry's home, Sheriff Graham grabbed her by the arm.

"Not so fast young lady. Your mom is worried sick about you. I'll be taking you home after go check on the lad. Make sure he’s alright." Graham still held onto Maria, pulling her into the house as well.

"How would like a glass of the best apple cider you’ve ever tasted?" Regina offers Emma.

"Got anything stronger?" Emma and Regina have moved into the house. Regina comes in with two glasses and pours out the cider.

"How did they find me?" Emma asks.

"No idea. When I adopted Henry, he was only three weeks old. Records were sealed. I was told the birth mother didn’t want to have any contact." Regina recalls.

"You were told right."

"And the father?" Regina questioned.

"There was one."

"Do I need to be worried about him?"

"Nope. He doesn’t even know."

"Do I need to be worried about you, Miss Swan?" Regina asks.

"Absolutely not. Hey what about Maria?" Before Regina could answer, Sheriff Graham comes downstairs

"Madam Mayor, you can relax. Other than being a tired little boy, Henry’s fine."

"Thank you, Sheriff."

"Come along, Maria. Your mother awaits you back home."

"I want Emma to take me home." Maria demands. Graham looks at her and shakes his head no.

"I don't think so, let's go." Maria frowns but follows the sheriff, her uncle to the cop car. "What were you thinking, Maria? Your mom has been so worried, when I saw her she was crying."

"I'm sorry, uncle Graham." Maria apologize, Sheriff Graham looks at his niece that his sister adopted all those years ago. He gave her a small smile.

Emma had left Regina's house in time to see Sheriff Graham drive off. Emma got in her yellow bug and followed them. They stopped at a big, beautiful navy blue house. Emma stayed in her car as Maria and the Sheriff exited the car. The door to the house opens to reveal a red haired woman who looked like she had been crying. Behind the woman was a blonde teenager who rushed just as quickly out. The woman ran to Maria and pulled her in a hug. The teenage was next to hug Maria. The woman looked at the sheriff and hugged him as well.

"Thank you, Graham." Said Anastasia Beauchamp. She was Anastasia to everyone in town, but to her youngest daughter and the mayor's son she was the Empress Anya Daae of Genovia.

They all went back into the house. Emma started her car and drove along road out of Storybrooke. She looks over and sees Henry and Maria’s book on the seat.

"Sneaky bastards." When she looks back to the road, there’s a wolf in front of her car. She swerves to avoid it and ends up hitting the Storybrooke entrance sign.
