It is a long ride to never land
but I hope you'll still be there when I land.
I hope we can get along and remain friends
but I know you may want more then just that. Something I can't forget,
I must live my life in truth
and just because you need me
doesn't mean I need you.
It's a long ride to my destination
and I hope you come to a realization
that I'm not your universe.
You can't live through me
because I make you incredibly happy.
Look within yourself,
past your insecurities
and find self love then you won't feel as empty. Yes, you have my empathy
but don't confuse it with love.
Love is on a road that one day we'll meet on.
