Pika Girl

Chapter two: Old friend

We traveled all day and finally reached Santalune City. We rushed to the gym, full of excitment.

"Are you two ready?" I ask my pokemon Blaze and Pika. "Pikachu!" "Fennekin!!" They cry and I smile.

"Ok, let's do this." I say and open the doors. When I open the doors I find that there is already a battle going on.

I look over at the competer to find a familer looking boy. I look over too see three people cheering him on.

"Hi, mind if I watch?" I ask walking over to them. "Sure!" Says a little girl. I look back at the battle and watch the boy.

A flashback soon hits me when I see his face.

~Flashback~

I was wondering the forest when I was four, looking for my dad. "DADDY?!" I cried out.

I had been in there for a while and couldn't find my way out. I called his name a few times before a wild caterpie appered.

"AHH!" I shout, frighted, I fall back and my leg bends in a wried way. I start to cry in fear. I can't move and its almost dark in here.

"Help." I mange to say threw the sobs. "Are you alright?" I hear a voice ask. I look up too see a boy my age with black hair.

"I twisted my leg. And I can't find my daddy." I say, sniffling. "Don't worry, I'll help you." He says with a smile.

His smile was nice and warm that made me return a smile back. He then helps me up and let's me lean on him.

"What's your name?" He asks. "Violet." I reply. "I'm Ash. First let's get out of this forest, ok?" He says.

I nod my head. As we walk a Poliwag appears, causing ,me to scream. "What's the matter?" He asks.

"T-The P-p-p-p...."I stutter but don't finish what I was going to say. "Don't worry, they are our friends. They won't hurt you unless their scared." He says.

The Poliwag comes closer and jumps infront of me. I hide into Ash's arms and try not to cry. "They won't hurt you." He says again.

I then look back at the Pokemon. I slowly bend down and pet it, causing it too cry in happiness. "See, never be afraid." Ash says and helps me back up.

We soon get out of the forest and he takes me too my house, to find my sick and worried mom and scared dad.

Everyday after that me and Ash would go in the forest and play with the Pokemon.

~Flashback one year later~

"Do you have too go?" Asks the boy, tears running down his face. I nod my head and wipe my tears.

"Don't cry Ash, your gonna make me cry." I say and try to smile. I had never seen him so sad. "Remember, kick Gary's butt for me ok." I add.

"I will. Violet?" He says wiping his tears. "Yes?" I ask. "When I get my Pokemon I'm gonna become a pokemon master, and hopefully find you." He says.

"I will too. I almost forgot." I say and run back into my empty house and grab something. "Here." I hand him a hat with a pokeball on it. "Something to remember me by." I add.

He nods and puts the hat on. "And here, its the pokedoll you wanted for christmas." He says handing me a pikachu doll.

I take it and hug him tightly.

~Flashback end.~

Could it be? I look over to the people who were watching. The battle was almost over.

"What's his name?" I ask them. One of the watchers, a boy, replied. "His name is Ash. And it doesn't look too good for him."

The battle ends and the challenger loses. They soon left but I knew where they were going so I would follow. After I beat the gym leader.

I looked at my new badge and smiled. "Ok Blaze you need a rest." I say and return it back into its pokeball.

"Ok Pika, he might still be at the poke center." I say and she jumps on me. I run too the poke center as fast as I could and I find him training in the back.

I walk back over to the people from before."Hey, your the girl who was watching with us at the gym." Says the boy.

I nod my head. We soon talk and I learn their names Clemont is the boy and Bonnie is the girl.

"So why are you watching Ash?" Asks Bonnie. I look at Ash then back at her. "I think he might be an old friend. So I'm going to ask him something."

The battle keeps going until he stops too think. Perfect time to go see. I walk over to him and bend down a bit and hand him a hankerchief.

"Here, us this." I say with a smile. "Thanks." He says taking it. Here we go.

"Um Ash, do you remember me?" I ask. I haven't really changed over the years so I hope he does remember me.

He stands up and looks at me closer and says the unexpected. "Violet?"
