"Hey Kelli, I'm going to Jake's house!" I yelled, still running downstairs, slipping my shoes on.
I wasn't going to Jake's house, I was going to a party, but Kelli doesn't need to know that.
"Okay." She smiled. I kissed her cheek, then went to the table by the door.
I dug for my Range Rover keys. "Ah ha!" I exclaimed once I found them. "Don't forget this." She smiled, handing me my iPhone.
"Try and be back around twelve or one." Kelli said. "And don't fall asleep at the wheel!" She added.
I nodded, then doorbell rung twice. "Who could that be at this time?" Kelli asked, I shrugged, and opened the door.
