Taylor Caniff's Point Of View
A baby carrier and trunk sat on the porch and a car speed away.
I stood there speechless. Kelli took that as a hint and stood next to me. She gasped and walked over to the carrier. Kelli picked up the carrier and brought it inside.
"Get the trunk, Taylor." She ordered. I hurriedly pulled the trunk inside and shut the front door. I sat down by the trunk, with Kelli next to me, playing with the carrier. I opened the trunk.
A note, sonogram, paternity test, and birth certificate were on top with a bunch of clothes under it.
I picked up the birth certificate.
Luca Faye Caniff
Sex: Female
Date Of Birth: March 11, 2013
Mother: Jamie Diane Foster
Father: Taylor Michael Caniff
I looked down at it with horror.
That was my daughter.
She was my daughter.
I shakily handed it over to Kelli.
Next, I grabbed the paternity test, even though I knew the outcome.
Yep.
Then, I picked up the note.
Dear Taylor,
Honestly, I'm about to kill either me or her, so I just can't do it anymore.
I'm sorry Taylor, I never wanted to get pregnant. Luca made a no strings attached thing, into a whole bunch of strings attached.
I can't stand to look at her for more than two minutes, and if I don't hand her over to you right now, then Luca would be no more.
Don't worry, I won't contact you at all.
Luca Faye Caniff is all yours.

I sighed and threw my head into my hands.
What the hell did I do?
What the hell was I going to do?
A daughter?
A daughter who's mom wanted to kill her.
Kill.
Luca was my daughter.
I had mixed emotions.
One part, was scared, I have no idea how to be a father. The second part, was my "Manly Father" part, the one that just wanted to protect her. The third part, wondered about everything else: fans, press, family.
What would they think? Would they be mad? Supportive?
"Can I see her?" I asked, quietly. Kelli nodded and I stood up. I picked her up and walked out of Kelli's sight.
"Don't worry baby girl, I won't let anybody hurt you. You are my daughter, and I wasn't there before but here I am now, and I am young, but I'm gonna change for you. You can have everything that I have and everything I am. I am yours and you are mine." I whispered in her ear.
