Mabel grabbed the strap of her backpack, looking back at Dipper as she smiled softly at her brother, he shook his head "You know you could just wait a few more weeks so I can go with you." Mabel stuck out her tongue and shook her head, "No! I want to go early! It's unexpecting and people would be surprised!" She said before slipping on the backpack "Besides I know you wouldn't come with me, you're busy with college and adult stuuuuf " Mabel said in a mockingly tone as Dipper flicked her face. He shook his head once again "Yesh, Fine I maybe wouldn't have come but you could've just waited" "Waiting is for people who aren't prepared to go" Mabel tapped her foot as Dipper was already done with this, looking at his phone he checked the time "You better head down to the bus stop, it leaves soon" he mumbled as Mabel nodded "Alright! I'll be going then, you have fun with your nerd junk and I'll have fun with more adventures" Dipper pitched in before she had left "Don't forget to call and keep me updated okay?" Mabel nodded quickly before heading out of the house and towards the bus stop, she would drive there but, that's a waste of money and she didn't own a car yet, but eh, taking the bus would bring back some summer memories.

It had probably been two hours since Mabel had made it to the bus stop and bordered the bus, now it was on it's way to Gravity falls, and other stops on the way to the small town. She was leaning her head against the window, earbuds in her ear as music drowned out the noise of the creaky bus and people who were talking. She closed her eyes as the vibrations of the bus and the tunes slowly put her to sleep. Besides it would be better to sleep most of the ride then be awake and bored. Mabel jolted awake as a loud ringing noise came from her phone, oh it was some stupid alert that her phone was dying, great. She took out the earbuds and turned her phone completely off before placing it in her bag. She went back to looking out the window as trees, cars, and animals passed, a huge sign was coming up, she squinted at the sign, oh! It was the welcome sign for Gravity Falls! She must've dozed off at the perfect time then, and was about to get off the bust, just a perfect combo for once.

Mabel waved at the bus driver as she got off at her stop, a dirt path that was leading down to the town. The bus drove off as Mabel gripped onto her straps of her backpack and giggled excitedly. She bounded down the path to the town, it would be a good fifteen minute walk down the path, but that was okay to her, it's great just to look at the forest sometimes, it brought back memories. Instead of fifteen minuets that passed it was twenty-five, Mabel had gotten lost at one point because she didn't pay attention to any of the signs that were littered about. Mabel had eventually wondered onto the town's streets, bikes, skateboards, and people were going down the sidewalks, cars heading down the roads. Mabel started walking down the side walk in some random direction, she wanted to explore and see if anything had changed before she went to see if the Mystery Shack was still standing or running. The Place was being run by Soos the last time she checked, well the last time she had talked to Pacifica, which had been maybe a year? She lost touch due to school and adult shit getting in the way, but hey! It's fine! Soos is wonderful at running stuff he holds dear to his heart, plus he has help to keep the place running, hopefully.

Mabel lost track of time, she didn't know the hour at all, but it seems it's most likely a wonderful idea to find the correct direction the Mystery Shack was in. So, she took in her surroundings and thought for a long while, tapping her finger on her chin. She was currently near the so called 'laser tag' area, if she just found the post office maybe she would be able to find her way, or she could just walk into the place and ask for directions. Yeah, that seems like a good idea. Mabel opened the door and stepped in, a teen was behind the counter that seemed like he was ready to book it off his shift in just a few minuets. She walked up to the counter as the teen looked up at her, "Welcome to Big Gunz Laser Tag, what can I do for you?" they said in a grumpy tone, Mabel quickly chipped in "I kinda lost my way, but I was wondering if you could help me with directions to the Mystery Shack?" She asked smiling awkwardly. The teen sighed, blowing hair out of their face "Just try looking for signs or something? It's not that hard really."they murmured. Mabel sighed "Please could you just, tell me where the nearest sign is or something?" She asked. The teen rolled their eyes "The nearest sign is near the woods entrance, now can you leave me alone?" Mabel sighed and nodded "Yeah thanks" She mumbled before leaving the place. 'Okay Pines! You can easily find the woods entrance! It has to be the place you first came from!' She thought to herself before running off in some direction once again.
