*6 months later*
"Mum... mum talk to me? Mum you up? Are you okay?" I ask, tearing up on the phone.
Mum was transmitted to hospital because she's been sick for months and decided not to tell anybody. I wake up this morning to hear my phone ring and I answer to hear a doctor telling me mum's with them. I'm trying too hard to call her, but whenever I do, it goes straight to voicemail.
"You okay princess?" He asks, making me wipe my tears immediately.
"Yes, yes I'm fine," I say, hiding my face.
"You don't seem alright," He states, getting out of bed.
"I'm fine, don't worry Ali," I say, throwing my hands to get him away from me.He doesn't say anything but sighs and sits near me on the bed.
"Okay we don't get along but I'm not going to sit here and watch my partner cry," He says, taking hold of my head and placing it on his chest.
I took one big sniff of his top and froze. As much as I hate the boy, he smells wonderful. I look at him, and then break into tears in seconds. I dig my head in his chest as he puts his arm around me.
"Okay I know you're not that type to talk about your feelings but let me just say that whatever's happened-"
"Mum's at hospital," I cry.
"Oh," He says, shocked. "Well, whatever has happened to her, she's going to be fine and you may not trust me but she's the mother off a strong girl so doesn't that make her 110% stronger? She CAN get through anything and you and I believe in her, and I'm certain you can get through it too... I mean you can can't you?"
"Of course I can, what kind of question is that?" I sobbed.
"See, hehe so why bother shedding tears when you know everything's going to go well?" He says.I don't say anything but look up at him and smile. He is right after all. Whatever happens I'm going to have to get over it, no bother shredding tears.
"Yeah, thanks so much Ali," I say, hugging him. "I feel a whole lot better now,"
"Hehe, can I have a kiss now that I made you feel better," He jokes, smiling.I smile and kiss him on the cheek, right next to where his lips end; he laughs and does a little dance.
"I got a kiss frim Eve, I got a kiss from Eve," He says, dancing around.
I laugh and watch him for a good 5 seconds then lit my hand of fire watching him freeze then scream, running to his bed as I cry of laughter. He then stops and shakes his head as I set out the fire and too laughs, slowly going into a silent.
"I want to go to the hospital right now, but I don't want to go alone," I whisper.
"Don't worry, I'll come with you," He says.
"Urm... okay," I stutter. We both got up and walked out from inside the HQ and to a jet. I walk in and take control over it straight away.
"Let me drive," He demands.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because I just want to," He says.
"Fine," I say, moving to the passenger's seat.He straps in and starts the jet immediately, driving to the hospital.
"Plus, you're not even 18 yet, you can't drive," He says.
"Just because you're 19 now you think you're so mature, and anyways I'm turning 18 next month," I say.
"Well, for now you're 17 so let the adult do the work,"When we reach the hospital and Ali lands. I undo my seatbelt, feeling his hands on mine just before get up.
"Before we go, I want you to know, that whatever happens, just stay strong because you have too much to live for," He says.
