To say I was surprised was the very least. I was flabbergasted.
"Austin?" I breathed out.
"You know it babe." And with a wink, he left.
I couldn't believe it. That freaking hottie carried me to the nurse's office just because of a little fall? And he winked at me? Wow. I didn't realize he even knew I existed.
"Here you go sweetie, have some water and you can go back to class soon, alright?"
The kind nurse helped me get off the little cot and offered me a glass of water. I took it eagerly, thanking her.
As I sipped it, my mind kept wandering to the fall. Eh. The more I thought, I realized it must have been a random spur of the moment thing, where boys suddenly have this weird urge to act all heroic and blah blah blah. Ya know, all that shit.
Anyway, I left the nurse's office still feeling a little dizzy. I slowly walked through the school halls (which still had students milling about even when classes were in session). Hmm. Typical high school. The school's bad boys, followed by their lady bitches, skipping class. Eh. Not much of a surprise.
"SCARLETT! OMIGOSH ARE YOU OKAY? ARE THE RUMOURS TRUE? DID AUSTIN REALLY CARRY YOU TO THE INFIRMARY? OHMAHGAWD WOMAN YOU GOTTA FILL ME IN ON ALL THOSE JUICY LITTLE DETAILS!"
Melanie, my best friend of like a million years (actually since we were 3) barreled towards me, yelling all the way.
"CALM DOWN. AND IF YOU WERE TRYING TO BURST MY EARDRUMS, CONSIDER IT DONE."
"Never mind about that! You better tell me missy, or you're gonna get your ass kicked!"
"Okay, look. Yes, he did carry me to the infirmary, but I'll tell you later, promise Mel."
"Eeeeee! Okay, so ummm, you okay?" Mel asked, slightly squirming.
"Yeah, um thanks for asking." I replied dryly.
She smiled sheepishly and gave me a hug.
"So anyways, you're coming over tonight, right?"
"Of course hun! Besides, I need to know those juicy little details." She replied with a wink.
"Mel!" I reprimanded.
She just laughed and walked away, off to class. I did the same.

Finally! The end of the school day! I walked out the door and to my car, which was a red 2016 Ferrari. I sighed in content, running my fingers over the hood. I loved this car. It was a birthday present from my parents.
I got in the drivers seat and sped off towards home.
I walked in through the front door and looked around. Nobody was home. Hmm.
I noticed a note on the fridge. It said:
нey нoney!
we've gone тo yoυr aυnт clara'ѕ ғor a qυιcĸ vιѕιт. we'll вe нoмe ѕoon, don'т worry. oн! gracιe'ѕ wιтн υѕ вy тнe way.

Great. I'm home alone. Oh well. I went up to my room and flopped down on my queen sized bed, grabbing my Mac (laptop) from the nightstand and flipping it open.
facebook
I clicked through my news feed, already bored.
"Why doesn't anybody ever post anything interesting? Went to a party, got laid, got the ladies all over me...WHAT THE HELL!"
I heard a tap on my window, though it was a loud one. I looked towards my window and then went back to my laptop. Tap, tap, tap. I gasped and inched over to the window, already freaked out.
Suddenly...
"Hahaha!"
Wait...laughter?
I cautiously peered out the window, only to jump back in surprise when Austin's (yeah, Austin!) face stared back.
"HOLY EFFIN' SHIT. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING AT MY WINDOW?"
"Not just at your window babe, in your bedroom too." He said with a wink, and climbed over the windowsill.
What exactly was Austin Carter of all people, doing in my room?
