~Julianna's POV~

We walked side by side down an abandoned road. The tiny rocks crunching beneath our feet and the icey wind seeping through our thin clothing. I had taken off my heels and was carrying them in my hand, using my unoccupied one to clench harrys jacket tighter around me. I suddenly stopped and he looked at me.

"Maybe this was a bad idea. Its probably better if I go back..."

"No." He cut me off. His green eyes shimmered in the moonlight and his lips were pressed in a thin line. "Come on Julianna, do you really not recognize where we are?"

I glanced around at my surroundings and pulled my eyebrows together in confusion.

"I've only lived here a week. Cut me a break." I rolled my eyes and he instantly grabbed my hand and took off running.

"What the hell!" I shouted as I took off running as well, it's not like he gave me a choice. I focused on keeping my feet moving fast enough to where I wouldnt trip over myself and his hand gripped tighter around mine. His laugh echoed through the empty street and his dimples were deep as he stared ahead, joy was clear on his face.

And that's why I kept running.

I could have easily pulled away and gone back and saved myself from pulling a muscle or dying of hypothermia, but that damn smile cut to my core every time, and instantly his happiness became my happiness. I thrived to see his smile, and when I rarely but finally did, nothing compared.

The feeling hit me like a truck and there was nothing I could do about it.

The warm glow I could feel in the pit of my stomach was unfamiliar, but I enjoyed nothing more than when it arrived and the butterflies went crazy inside me.

That's when I realized I was falling for him.

We slowed to a stop in an ally way, and Harry pulled his hand away from mine. He dug in his pockets as I looked at our surroundings. Two small brick buildings stood 10 feet away from eachother and stretched a good ways down. We were all alone in a dark, scary place that was unrecognizable.

"Where are we?" I asked nervously. All I recieved in return was a smirk. I wrapped my arms around eachother as Harry fumbled with a lock on the door. I assumed we were at his house and this made me nervous, but all worry went away as we stepped inside the area, with a sudden pink glow bouncing off the walls.

"No way..." I answered in awe as I stepped inside the familiar place. "Why did you bring me to the bakery..." I glanced at the clock. "At midnight?"

He chuckled and continued walking past me towards the kitchen. Was this boy ever going to answer me?

I followed him to the back of the place where cupcake trays and cake pans were spread out everywhere along with mixing bowls and measuring cups. There were many cabinants panted a dark blue and several refrigerators and ovens were pressed against the wall.

Harry smirked at me and spread his arms, gesturing to the whole kitchen.

"This is where the magic happens." He said proudly.

"Why do I feel like the ladies do all the cooking and you just sit back here for a paycheck?" I questioned and he laughed lightly.

"I can make one of the most kick ass cakes on the planet to change your mind." I cocked my eyebrow at him as if I was daring him.

He rolled his eyes and pulled out a cake pan and quickly greased it, then set the over to 425 degrees.

"You wanna help?" He asked with a playful smile.
