Chapter 5) Lost and found

Meanwhile with (Y/n)...
"One, two, three, four, one, tw-"
"よーし皆さん! (Yosh, minna-san!= Alright everyone) Take five!" (Y/n) yelled.
Everyone in the track team fell down and took deep breaths, while some others ran to get water to cool down.
"Good job everyone! I've seen a lot of improvements from this week, keep it up!" (Y/n) looks down at her watch to see that it's the halfway time. "Alright, I'm going to the swim club, if anyone needs help, you can ask Yuuma!"
Nodding their heads, and a few replied with a "yes", (Y/n) started to pack up some equipment their didn't need, like batons and some metal balls for shot-put.
"(Y/n)!"
(Y/n) turned around to see Yuuma running after her like there is no tomorrow.
"何? (Nani? = what?)" (Y/n) asked, not sure what's going on.
"Ne, meet me in the student council room after club activities are over, and drag Haru-kun over as well."
"Ok, but don't we always meet up there in the first place?"
Realizing her mistake, they both laugh it off; Yuuma running back to the track field and (Y/n) walking off to the indoor pool.

Timeskip: 18:00 pm.

"School Idol?"
Both the pinknette and the (h/c)nette wondered at the same time.
"Yeah!" The blonde athlete shouted. "This could be our chance to be Idols in the future!"
"That's true," Haru-kun said, finally speaking up without a sarcastic answer. "But isn't too late into the school year to do that?"
"I agree, plus did you ask the principal about it? Just because I'm president, doesn't mean I can establish clubs just like that." (Y/n) implies, not seeing eye-to-eye with Yuuma, at the moment.
"Haha! I'm already one step ahead of you guys!" Yuuma explained, getting out forms to complete. "The principal said it's alright, but..."
"But?" (Y/n) asked suspiciously while rolling her hands, implying that she wants her to complete her sentence.
Yumma, not wanting to corporate, mumbles the last part. Can't hear what she was saying, they asked it again. She said it a little bit louder, but not audible to them. Asking her one more time she screams, "WE MUST HAVE A DEBUT CONCERT BY THE END OF THE MONTH!" Then quickly covers her mouth, remembering that Daichi is still here sleeping nearby.
"EEHHH!!!" They both screamed, scaring the living daylights out of Daichi.

Near the outside of the school building: lockers

"Hehe~ sorry for scaring you earlier Daichi-kun...
Yuuma really did scared us when we're going to have a debut concert out of nowhere soon." (Y/n) said, feeling guilty that she woke him up in an unexpected way.
"That's alright, if I was in your shoes, I would've done the same." Daichi said while sweat-dropping, imagining him yelling and waking up someone in the process as well.
As they approach the main entrance of the school, (Y/n) sees Tazuki looking down at his phone as he leans against the wall. (Y/n) runs up to him so they can walk to Sora's place together, not before she said "goodbye" to Daichi and saying, "Hope you get enough sleep tonight!" Before she turns to Tazuki and started to walk with him.

As they walk in a comfortable silence, Tazuki decided to pick up a conversation between the (h/c)netted girl, "Hey (Y/n)?"
"Hm?"
"What's with that extra bag that you have? Plus, why there was screaming inside of the school?"
"Hehe~" (Y/n) said giving a small smirk that was large enough for Tazuki to see. "You'll find out later! And for your second question, I'll tell you when we get to Sora's place.
So come on, let's go!" (Y/n) grabbed Tazuki hand as they walk to Sora's house.
It's not like Tazuki doesn't like holding the girl's hand since they did it when they were kids, but now they're 17 years old, (according to the manga) almost young adults, it seems different since they were more educated now than back then. The blue hair male was so lost in thought that he didn't notice that they were already here and (Y/n) lets go of his hand to unlock the door with the key from under the mat. He already missed the warmth of her hands and got replaced by the chilly Autumn air.
As they enter the room, they were greeted by Sora making a small book of some sort making a good assumption that he didn't copy any of the notes at all. When Sora noticed the two, he became completely terrified of Tazuki's intimidating aura and stopped of what he was doing before.
Mii-Kun, who was staring at the unfamiliar teenager, looked at Tazuki with curiosity as both Sora and (Y/n) quickly got out of the room to go get snacks and some drinks. Meanwhile Tazuki sits down and look down at the little mummy, enough to make it seems like he is looking through his soul. Looking at Mii-Kun for a long time now, the little mummy was anxious about what's going to happen next until Sora and (Y/n) came back with a Pumpkin Mont Blanc and some lemon-honey tea.
"Here you go, a Pumpkin Mont Blanc-"
"And some lemon-honey tea!" Both said, finishing each other's sentences.
"ありがと。" (Arigatō = thank you) Tazuki said look at the homemade food.
Running towards the food, Mii-Kun fell down mid-way making all three of them looking at him. Picking up Mii-Kun with his finger, making him properly stand-up he asked,
"Are you okay Mii-Kun? Are you still scare of Tazuki?"
Wailing his little arms around to give off a sign, Tazuki said, "It looks good." Making the mummy scare because Mii-Kun thought Tazuki was talking about him. Slowly turning around, in Mii-Kun's point of view, it looks like Tazuki is ready to eat in a sadistic way; making Mii-Kun think he said, "That's a delicious looking mummy we got here." Thinking of this makes Mii-Kun even more scared than he already is.
Interrupting Mii-Kun's mindset of Tazuki, he ask both Tazuki and (Y/n) if they wanted to bring some home. Both replied "yes," and Sora went to the kitchen while (Y/n) went off to get her second bag that was waiting in the living room for a while now; making Mii-Kun all alone with Tazuki for a while for now.
Running towards the middle of the table, where lies a vase filled with roses, Mii-Kun took a peak behind the vase to see a scary interpretation of a scary looking Tazuki looking down at him once more.
In Tazuki's point of view, he's thinking on a way for him to catch the little creature in front of him without him running away; he was already aware that he frightens the little fella, and now he needs to deceive the mummy.
Grabbing a piece of the Pumpkin Mont Blanc, and giving his "best" smile, he said, "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you."
Running towards Tazuki, unfortunately it was a trap. Gently squeezing the mummy and wondering where's the end of the bandages, he suddenly gets hit in the head with a heavy book. He turns around to see (Y/n) holding a small dragon name, Akiko with her non-dominant hand and a heavy 2-inch book with her dominant hand. (Maka chop!)
"What are you doing?" (Y/n) barely said as she wanted to know what he was doing.
Right next to her was Sora who just came in the food inside a small pastry box as he thinks that Tazuki was just "playing" with Mii-Kun.
"Oh I was wondering where's the end of the bandages." Tazuki said nonchalantly as Sora grabbed the book from (Y/n)'s hand and lightly smacking him; not in any harmful way, just hard for him to let go of Mii-Kun before any suffering continue.
"Geez, you can't even take off the bandages, it even said so in Dad's letter." Sora said as he brings Mii-Kun to the other side of the table and (Y/n) places Akiko on the table, letting him introduce himself to Mii-Kun.
"Ne, Tazuki-kun, bandages for Mii-kun is like our skin," Sora said while bringing the cup of tea to his mouth and taking a small sip. Looking up, you can see bloodshot eyes darting towards Tazuki, making him freeze up. "If it's his skin is like outs, do you still really want to know what is on the inside?" Shocked by what Sora said, he looked down and quickly said "no".
Changing the cold atmosphere the (h/c)netted decided to tell them what happened afterschool that same day.
"Ehh? School idol?" Both males said in slight curiosity. Furiously nodding her head, she added, "Yeah, both me and Haru were both surprised when Yuuma suddenly dropped the news on as well. The weird part is that we have a debut concert at the end of the month."
"Ehh!"

A few days later

After two days in a row of Mii-kun getting dried up, Sora thought it was a good idea to bring him to school like (Y/n) does. Since the little mummy can fit into his bag current unlike Akiko, he did just that.
As he went to school, he saw Tazuki and ran towards him. "Morning!" Sora said while catching up with the indigo haired teenager. Looking back, Tazuki sees Sora running towards him. Slowing down to his pace, he quickly said good morning before he heard a noise coming from his book bag. Wondering what it is, he sneaky unzipped it just to see the small mummy's bandages from the inside. Sighing, Tazuki asked Sora, "Why did you bring Mii-kun with you? I can get (Y/n) since she can hide him in the student council room, but where are you going to hide him?"
Giggling, he just say, "Just you see." As they approach the school. Going to their lockers and putting on their shoes, they quickly had to the classroom to see that it is barely occupied, just two other students minding their own business. Heating to their assign seat, Sora quickly took out Mii-kun and put him inside of his desk, hoping no one saw Mii-kun while doing so.

Lunch time, a time where everyone can relax from class, well, except for (Y/n), she looks dead.
Getting up from her seat, she went out to the hallways and went straight to the student council room to discuss about the whole school idol thing and how they're going to plan it. Meanwhile with Tazuki and Sora, they checked worn Mii-kun to see if he is okay. Sora places a finger on his lips to signal the little mummy to keep quiet and to stay still. Placing the little mummy in his blazer pocket, a student came behind them, scaring them in the process. Apparently, it was one of their classmate: Motegi Asa. She saw Mii-kun and asked where can she get one, while getting closer to Sora to get a better look at it.
"Um... I made it?" Sora said with a slight hint of confusion, but good enough for Motegi-change to believe.
"Oh really? I never know you were into these kinds of things! Ne, it's it okay if you make me one?" Asa-change ask, wanting one of her own. Not want to make her upset, he reluctantly said yes, but he'll make one for her after lunch. Nodding her head in approval, she skipped away to have lunch with her friends that were waiting for her outside of the classroom. Sighing in relief that she's gone and no one else is in the room, he got Mii-kun out of Sora's pocket and set him on the table.
Unknown to Sora, Tazuki was behind him with an intimidating aura and hit him over the head.
"Ouch! Tazuki, what was that for!?"
"Jeez, I don't know, maybe because you can't make multiple Mii-kun. And beside, how are you going to make some within a short period of time?"
"Here~ Just watch." Sora said while smiling.

In an unoccupied classroom, Tazuki was leaned over as Sora working on something. As Sora was about done, he finished sewing four identical plushiest of Mii-kun. Mii-kun, who was standing next to the plushies saw that all of them looked exactly like the original mummy. Just on time, Motegi came into the room and immediately, Mii-kun sat down just like the other plushies are.
"Wow! That's so cool Kashiwagi-kun, you're so talented! It's it okay if I take one now?"
Nodding his head his, Motegi-chan took one and quickly said "thank you" before heading towards the locker room for P.E. class. Sighing in relief, they look back at the little plushies to see that nine of them are moving.
"Mii-kun?" Sora asked and when he didn't hear a response from the little mummy, he realized that Motegi took the original Mii-kun. Before he could chase after Motegi, the bell rang signaling that lunch was over and out was time to go to P.E. class. They both went to the locker room to change into their uniforms and went outside for class.
While the boys did cross-country road running, the girls where on the other side of the court playing volleyball. They saw that (Y/n) was right next to Motegi, they used that as their advantaged.
(Y/n) felt a few pair of eyes glaring at her, she turned around to see that both Sora and Tazuki are staring at her signaling for her to come over. Excusing herself, she stood up and ran towards their direction.
"So tell me, why are you guys glaring at me so intensely?" (Y/n) asked as she looked dumbfounded as to why they were intensely glaring at her.
"Ah, well..." Sora starting off, making Tazuki said the rest of the story.
"So basically, you want me to see if I could see switch out the original Mii-kun with another plushies they you made?" (Y/n) asked as they nod their heads "yes" as Sora gives her two plushies identical to Mii-kun. Walking her way back, she took out one of the plushie so she can make a smooth conversation without it being so blunt.
After taking to Motegi, she found out that it was in her locker and she'll be able to see it after class. Looking at Sora, she shook her head "no" signaling that she doesn't have it right now, then pointing at the school, meaning that it was inside.
When P.E. was over, they walked to the locker room to see that Mii-kun wasn't there, (Y/n) comforted Motegi and said she'll look for as she give her a replica.
Some of you might be wondering: what happened to Mii-kun?
Well you see, when everyone left the locker room, Mii-kun found his way to a hole in the wall. Thinking that this would lead to Sora, he went in and search gotta way around the school. Midway, he met a big that scared the little mummy making him even more lost until he found his way outside near a bush.
As people came near to his location, he pretend to be a doll so he wouldn't be kidnapped. {Wouldn't be mummynapped?Σ(ﾟДﾟ)} Class actually just ended and they were going to the lockers to change. When (Y/n) turned on the next corner, she noticed a white spot near the bushes. Looking around for any witnesses near by, she pick up Mii-kun and headed for the locker room. As she walks there, Mii-kun realized it was (Y/n) so he started to rub his head against her hand signaling that he was happy to see her.

Right after she changed into her normal uniform, she went to class to tell Sora and Tazuki that she found the little mummy. When she got to the classroom, she saw Motegi bowing down and saying sorry and that she have to borrow (Y/n)'s until she either one of them can find it.
"Hey Motegi-Chan, I found your plushie!" (Y/n) said as she gives her the fake Mii-kun instead of the real one. Instead of a gloomy face, her face brightens up as she give (Y/n) a quick hug before she said, "Thank you." as she walks back to her seat.
Since the teacher still want here, (Y/n) took out the real Mii-kun to Sora as she scolds him for losing him so easily.
Hey guys, it's been a while, so in some parts it doesn't make sense like the school idol and reader-Chan have high sensory skills. The school idol is for the continuation of this book after these chapters are finish. For the high sensory skills, she learned them because she was part of class 3-E. [I'm not going to spoil any more than that.]
