*14 years ago (The day Gramorr took over the castle)*

"Gramorr.... Why are you doing this....? We... trusted you...!" The king of Ephedia says in a weak tone before Gramorr shoots him with a powerful spell that makes him lose consciousness.

Gramorr laughs wickedly and says "Who's next?"

Then, he takes a glance at the queen who was badly hurt and was trying to escape the castle to protect the crown.

"Wow... Are you not going to fight? Where's your dignity?" Gramorr laughs.

He slowly approaches the queen and goes for the crown, but before he can grab it off the queen's head, a voice emerges from behind.

"Gramorr what the... What are you doing?!"

He turns around startled and says "Anata..!? I told you to stay at home!!! Wha- what are you doing here?!" His voice is somewhat quivery.

"You've been acting very strange lately and I just knew that you were hiding something from me!" She says "Now I see that you have a serious problem!"

He looks away from her in disbelief "You... Won't understand...."

"Maybe I could if you just explained yourself!! Has all the time we've been together not meant anything to you?" She says as she fights back the tears. "I just... Can't believe you would do something like this! What is wrong with you?!!?"

He hated that she had put him on the spot like that, he didn't know why he was doing it... It just felt good!

It felt good to have a whole kingdom kneel before him, fear him, and when he looked at the king, he just saw a wuss that didn't know how to use all the power he possessed.

Gramorr knew that he could be a way better king if he had the chance, and now.... He did.

"Gramorr!! Are you listening?! for goodness sake!!!" Anata yells.

'She... Keeps pushing me! I... I need this power... She doesn't understand...' He thinks to himself.

"Is this seriously who you are going to let your daughter see you as??!!"

Rage pulsed through his veins after she said that last sentence. He had enough...

"DO NOT DRAG HER INTO THIS!! After I'm done, you and (___) will live like royalty!!" He yells.

"I... I can't let you do this..." She says as she grabs a pendant from her pocket and aims it at Gramorr.

"I refuse to fight you, Anata..." He turns around and starts walking towards the queen who is trying to get the king to wake up.

"You are going to be forced to fight me if you don't stop this nonsense right now!!!" she yells.

He says nothing and goes for the crown.

"You asked for it!!!!" She says and she starts to cast the spell "Crystal-" but she hesitates. She looks at him and sees that she's about to hurt the love of her life, she can't bring herself to do this..... so she says with tears rolling off her cheeks "Gramorr... Please..."
