Saturday morning. I felt groggy. I can't remember why. I checked my phone only to figure out it was 5am. I looked around and saw it was raining outside. The light pitter patter made me relax a bit. I always loved soft rain. I stood up and went over to the door, opened it, and stood on the balcony. Though I was slightly confused as the water hit my bare skin, me being in short shorts and a tank. It was late August. Why was it raining? I went back inside and dried off with the towel that was laying on my couch. I wobbled over to my bed wanting sleep to wash over me. As soon as I hit the covers, I was out.
MAYAAAAA WE'RE BACKKKKKKKK!!!!!!
Let me introduce myself/ My name is Maya Malik. I'm 17 and graduating high school this coming school year. I'm 5'2 (yep that's short) and I have curly, dark brown hair that falls mid back. My skin is a tan color. My eyes are light green mixed with grey. I have an older sister and younger sister. I'm quite wealthy because of my parents but that's something that doesn't come into conversations often. I was a somewhat popular kid in school but that's all.
"Ughhh" I groaned into my pillow not wanting to wake up. I felt sunlight hitting my legs. And the voices still ringing in my ears. My friends Ash and Ray were back from their vacation to the Bahamas. They tackled me while I was still on my bed. I loved my sleep. More than anything, excluding parents. But Ashya and Raven were an exception.
"WE MISSED YOU YOU BITCH AND YOU CAN'T EVEN GET YOUR LAZY FAT ASS OFF THE BED?"
I embraced the two annoying teenage girls on my bed. We talked about their trip and went on and on on how our summer's been. The whole day went past like that. Until my mom came into my room with a somewhat serious expression.
"Maya, your father and I want to talk to you,"
