Caroline's POV
I woke up in my bed and saw Nik sleeping next to me. I couldn't help, but smile he looked so peaceful sleeping. "You're staring, love" he said with his eyes closed "Morning to you too." I got out the bed and put his shirt on before walking in the bathroom to take a shower.

After the shower I found Nik went right back to sleep so I walked out the room and walked downstairs. I saw Marcel with Elijah just not walking in the compound. I ran to Elijah and we embraced. "Someone's glad to see me." He said I giggled then let go before I hugged Marcel as well. "Brother, good to have you back." Nik said coming downstairs they stared at each other for a minute until smirks popped up on both their faces and they hugged one another. "Elijah!" Rebekah ran to her brother and they hugged.

After breakfast Nik was teaching Marcel how fencing with Rebekah. Elijah went to go view the city and I watched Marcel. "Someday I'm going to marry you." The ten year old boy said "I will never marry a man that couldn't beat me a fencing." Rebekah said I faked coughed and the two laughed Nik walked upstairs. I knew how protected he was of his sister,but he can't keep her as a child forever.

I walked upstairs to my room and saw Nik drinking bourbon. I took it out his hand and he stared up at me. "There are more ways to deal with issues then getting wasted and doing things you'll regret." I said I walked away with the glass until he grabbed my arm I turned around to look at him. "I'm sorry" he said "For what?" I asked "For bringing you into this mess,but I never regretted anything, Caroline. The first time I met you I fell in love with you. Everyone told me to let you go and I never did because I love you Caroline Forbes." He said I smiled and kissed him. "I love you too Niklaus Mikaelson."

I was reading books on the werewolf family when I saw a birthday and year that was exactly like mine. October 10,1811 Renee Marshall. This is all my family history my family is still alive. After all these years,but how is that possible. Mom told me my dad left us for someone else or many because he didn't want us to know about him. I walked downstairs with the book in my hand when someone took it out my hand. "What happened to no more walks?" Nik asked "You said midnight. The sun is up and I'm fine on my own." I said he flipped threw the pages and found where I left the book mark. "Nik I need that give it back." I tried to reach for it,but then he walked away from me with the book. "NIK!" I yelled and jumped in front of him. "Nik give it back." I said "Not unless you let me come with you." He said "Not going to happen I need to do this on my own." "Good luck." He walked away "Fine!" I said and took the book from him as I walked out the compound he followed.

We found ourselves in the woods walking around. "You sure about this love?" He asked "That's like you hundredth time asking me that question." I said I was getting annoyed then we heard a growl and Nik grabbed my arm pulling me behind him. A woman appeared she looked dirty looking and rusty. I could tell Nik didn't like this at all. "What do want?"she asked "I'm looking for someone named Bill Marshall. Do you know him by any chance?" I asked "Bill Marshall only comes around when it's a full moon night." She said "And why is that?" Nik asked "I can leave message for you if you want." She said "That's okay we're good. Love,let's go." Nik grabbed my arm I looked at him. "Just give me a minute, please." I said he nodded before walking away. "If you see him can you tell him Renee Marshall is looking for him?" I asked "Renee Marshall? Renee died in a fire with her mother 24 years ago,but I'll be sure to let him know." She said

We went back to the compound and I wanted to break down so badly,but didn't. This whole time my family thought I was dead. For 24 years of my whole life it was me and my mom,but now I feel kinda lonely. My family lived all this time and she died say a word.
