The Lost One

Klaus's POV

Davina told me I may only have 2 weeks left before Grace.... Before the dark magic reaches her heart so we're doing whatever she wants to do before then. She forced me to take her to France so we all as a whole Mikaelson family went to Paris. (Including everyone: Rebekah, Marcel, Davina, Kol, and the kids.)

"You're first time goimg to France?" Rebekah asked Grace. Grace nodded. "My first time going anywhere actually." She said as she laid back in her seat. "I'm sure you'll love it." Davina said Grace once again nodded before saying another stupid quote. "Yeah while it last." Hope quickly got out her seat and went to the back room closing the door.

After a few hours of still being on the plane the whole time Grace was fiddling with the braclet on her wrist Davina gave her. Hope was in the back asleep in Noah's arms as he watched Netflix while the others and I were discussing good memories from the past including some about Caroline and it didn't make me mad because she was a good woman that I did wrong many times and she stuck by me anyway and look where it got her though.

"I remember that time Kol got his ass kicked by a newly hybrid." Rebekah stated we all laughed as Kol rolled his eyes. "That wasn't fair she was being a pain back then." He said "You were being an ass yourself." I added. "No I wasn't..." Kol argued. "You probably were Uncle Kol." Grace jumped in looking at us for a few minutes before looking back out the window.

"That time Niklaus drove a dagger in you." Rebekah added. They laughed more. "Let's just say I did what I had to do to protect the woman I loved." I said. They sighed. "We loved Caroline too brother." Kol stated and Rebekah nodded. "She'll h-have a great place in our hearts." She said

After the flight

We all got out the jet and looked around. "Holy shit." Noah said "Language." Hope scolded. Noah chuckled. I looked over at Grace who stared in awe. "It's beautiful." She said. "You know me and your father came up here once." Bekah said. "Really?" Grace asked. Bekah nodded and smiled at her. "It was for good business, but it was a delightful sight to see." Kol jumped in "I even took Davina here." I chuckled and rolled my eyes. "Let's get settled in a hotel then get ready for dinner." I said everyone nodded we had got in the rental cars and drove off.

Later that night

Dinner was great, the hotel was amazing and huge for everyone to sleep and have their own room everything was just fine. I woke up in the middle of the night from a noise coming from the room next door which was of course Grace's I needed to keep a close eye on her. I looked over at my clock as I slowly sat up and say it was 3 am in the morning. I sighed thinking maybe she had a bad dream as I stepped out the bed and slowly walked next door and opened it slowly. Grace was sitting in the bay window of her room staring at the moon. She had her legs crossed hugging her pillow and I could hear her heart rate slightly.

I slowly walked over to her and sat beside her. "Grace..." I started off, but she didn't look at me just stared at the moon. "Grace talk to me." I suggested. She still didn't say anything which made me sigh. "I can't sleep." She suddenly said. I looked at her and watched as she continued to speak. "I'm scared t-that if I do I........ I'll never wake up again." My eyes widened and frowned. "What if Davina is wrong? I could die tonight, tomorrow, right now even." I couldn't say anything. "I lost so many people and I couldn't save them. No matter how hard I tried. I always said I'd do anything to bring them back, but..... I don't...... I..... I don't wanna die." She cried and finally looked at me. "I don't wanna die daddy." I hugged her. "You're not going to die I promise you. I'll fix this." I saud. "I'm sorry for everything." She continued crying into my neck. "It's not your fault. You and your siblings are the best thing that ever happened to me. I lost your mother I'm not losing you too." I said also having tears roll down my cheek. She pulled away from the hug and looked at me with her eyes like Caroline's. "I love you dad." She said it made me smile slightly as I rubbed her cheek. "I love you too Grace so much. Always and Forever."
