Michael knew immediately what he did. Taylor knew he could not hide what was done. Only the queen was left curled up crying.

To the queen, her daughter had been betrayed by her cursed just like she had been more than 9000 years before. Thinking about the whole thing was just too much and she emptied her stomach.

"Oh get over yourself she is not dead." Michael says irritated by her vomiting. "You choose to betray me just like the rest of our people?"

"The majority cannot be wrong Michael."

"Your wrong! Your ignorance will be your downfall!" Michael shouts.

Taylor had all but won this fight, he remained calm. "Your spiralling out of control Michael. You and I can stop this entity thing in your mind and you can start to see things how they really are."

Michael summons a massive boulder and throws it at Taylor. It passes through him like he was not even there. "Nothing will ever control me again!"

"You're wrong Michael. I can help you."

A spout of lava erupts under Taylors feet but again it has no effect. "Your the one who has something wrong with you. It has never been clearer what I have to do."

The cage beside Taylor moves beside the queen in a blink. Taylor just shakes his head. "That's not going to work."

"Of course it will. With her here you won't have a choice. Let me harm you or I harm her." Michael gestures to the cage and nothing happens. He repeats the gesture and nothing happens again. "What did you do?" The Hunter screams at Taylor.

"I cut her off from my dreams. I can't visit her nor her I." Taylor notes a smirk on the face of the queen.

"Then I will summon other subs. You will submit to me."

"Then I will simply cut them off from me just like I did Eve. I am not cruel however, the queen can stay so you can talk if you want. I am sure you have much to work out now that you're reunited."

Michael howls a massive roar of frustration and banishes the cage with the queen in it. Standing there breathing heavily in all his rage Michael brews a storm around him. The sky turns black with clouds illuminated by violent cracks of lightning. The ground shakes as it is divided in two with platforms where we stand separated by a bottomless chasm. The wind begins to howl along the chasm between us like a windstorm ready to rip trees from their roots. The rain falls sideways with the wind.

Taylor just stands stoically ignoring to growing storm. There was no point in lowering himself to that of the man opposite him. There is no anger nor hatred in his heart, just compassion and pity. Compassion for his situation. He became a victim to the whim of a god because he was vulnerable; Now he is a slave to a hatred that is not even truly is. Pity because here was a man behaving like a child who could not get his way. A child refusing to acknowledge he has a problem.

Without any warning Michael disappears and the storm dissipates moments later. "Someone must have woke him up, well that's interesting."

"First sir! We have an urgent matter that needs your immediate attention." the guard informs nervously.

"It's fine, there was no rest there anyways." Michael says uncharacteristically as he steps out of bed. "Do we have a new target?"

"Yes sir! Unlike any before."

"You have worked for me for a week. How exactly do you know this is special?"

"The Hunter that is reporting this says they have formed an army."

Michael nearly drops his spear after just grabbing it from its position beside the bed. "An army you say? Well this is cause for celebration! How many men strong?"

"At least a thousand sir, and growing."

Michaels tone shifts to a serious and dangerous one. "Take me to the man making the report."

Moments later Michael is lead to the main control room where a Hunter waits impatiently for him. The room immediately turns all eyes on him. "Show me your evidence."

Obviously relieved to not be punished for his report he leaps into action. "Two hours ago a satellite image was found indicating a large camp of people gathered in a forest opening about three kilometers from a military base known as C.F.B. Gagetown. The first pictures back from the site show what appears to be a large group of subs without illusions armed and practicing for combat."

"The local government?"

"Their not as fast as us but they are on the way to investigate. I estimate within the hour they will have their first images."

"How soon can we deploy those weapons?" Michael asks pointing at the screens.

"Minutes sir. They could be onsite in about three hours" another Hunter says excitedly.

"Five Hunters, with their full crew will go with them. I have other matters so you can determine who goes."

"Orders sir?"

"Slaughter every single one." he says with a grin.
