"Oh, my gosh, Autumn! What are you going to do he totally likes you it's so obvious." Lyla exclaimed during science class one day.
"Autumn it's so obvious you have to talk to him!" a boy added. He had just walked over to the table.
"Elliott right?" Lyla asked wondering who this mystery guy was in front of her.
"Yeah! So you ship them too I assume" Elliott answered
"Since day one" she joked.
"So what are you going to do Autumn?" they asked.
"Go home" she replied as the bell rang signifying the end of the day.
"Well, see you tomorrow Elliott," Lyla said awkwardly with a quick wave.
"Yeah see you tomorrow" he mumbled.
The next day at lunch all Autumn could talk about was Walker (the boy from yesterday) suddenly Elliott came over and started talking like it was totally normal. They laughed and talked all period as soon as they knew it they were back in science class together. From then on things felt different, happier for everyone. Autumn, Lyla, and Elliott were inseparable during school and were always texting. Lunch was the most fun though, lunch was the time that they could gossip and get all of the details on the Autumn and Walker situation. Lyla finally felt happy, she felt like she had found her new best friends. Until her parents told her they were visiting family at the end of November.
