Kirby sweetie, hang on!" You called out to the ecstatic puff ball as he ran with one of the ship parts in his tiny hands. Meta Knight set you on the ground softly. "Thanks!" You waved to him quickly before running after your little pink pal.
"Poyo!" He yelled back to you as he stopped in his tracks and pointed anxiously at Magolor's ship. You caught up to him quickly, "I know! I know!" You laughed. "We finally did it!" He jumped up and grabbed you by the hand, making you lean over and run with him due to his small size. You wondered where he had all this energy..
It wasn't long before you made it to your new alien friend's ship. Kirby burst inside, dragging you along with him as he proudly caught the attention of Magolor, waving the part around excitedly.
"Well look at that!" Magolor chimed, he gently took the piece from Kirby's hand. "Excellent work! She'll fixed up in no time!"
He tended to the control panels for a moment, tweaking a few things before the gear became airborne, it floating slightly in the before it dissolved entirely. The map on the screen above him displaying where the piece was placed. It was quite mesmerizing.
You could feel the presence of your three other friends behind you, gazing up in awe at the sparkling ship on screen. " We did it guys." You muttered, still dazzled by the fixed ship onscreen.
You felt something brush slightly against your hand, this breaking out of your stupor. "I'm so glad you all did this for me..." You turned your attention to the timid alien who appeared beside you, his hand hovering yours for a moment. "Thank you so much." He looked up at you, his once yellow eyes turning a shade of light pink.
His gesture overwhelmed you a bit, the sudden skip of your heart beat made you dizzy.
"Ah... no problem..."
The two of you stood there for a moment, faces a bit red as you stared at each other rather awkwardly.
When you first met the little alien creature, you were rather surprised to say the least, you've never really seen anyone like him before. Well...you assumed he could say the same about you, you were the only human on planet Pop Star after all. But nonetheless, you never thought the little blue alien would ever need your help with something like this, not only that, he was giving an impression that he liked you a bit...
But you thought you were reading too much into it.
He broke the gaze as he looked toward the ground a bit embarrassed.
"Er...I want to make one last stop actually..."
The group all shared a a chorus of "huh?" (With the exception of Kirby and Bandanna Dee.) As the attention was drawn back onto Magolor, the little alien floating back to his post and playing with the keyboard for a moment.
"Don't worry, it's no more fighting! I promise. I just want to thank you guys." He waved everyone over.
Making your way behind him, you glanced up at the screen. A image of a miraculous island of sweets was displayed , there were slights of cotton candy trees, chocolates bushes and so much more..
You swore you heard Meta Knight sniffle.
"I assumed that you guys would be rather happy to see this." He chuckled.
Meta Knight grabbed him by the collar tears welling up behind his masked face, "Thank you... so much..." he sobbed. Dedede rolled his eyes and patted him on the head, hushing him silently.
"Well let's not waste anytime!" Magolor went for the wheel, kicking the engine into gear as the ship gargled and rose off the ground. With a quick burst of acceleration you were off, everyone beyond ecstatic to reach the candy island.
You settled beside the alien behind the wheel, "You made them really exited."' You chuckled, looking at your still- cheering group of softies behind you.
He hummed in response, turning in your direction with loving eyes. He couldn't help but be mesmerized by you for a second as you watched your friends with a kind look. He wondered how he become so smitten with you so quickly, but all he really needed to see how gentle and sincere your words and actions were.
Oh dear...
And just like that, you guys were there. The two of you didn't even get the chance to blink before the door flew open and the four of them were gone in a cloud of dust.
You felt a sweat drop at your head, "Ah...they were a lot more exited than I though..." You chuckled.
"Well, why don't we join them?" You turned to him, giving him a sweet smile. You began to make your way to the door, only to be stopped by a tug on your hand.
"Wait..." He muttered, pulling you back in his direction. "I need to talk to you.."
You weren't sure why that put a pit in your stomach, but you swallowed back the anxiety as you nodded, sitting on the white sofa that he was already at.
"What's...?"
"I don't want to say goodbye to you.."
You froze.
"Eh...?"
He choked on his words, " Uhh.. it's just. I guess, I became rather fond of you. I didn't realize until now that I'd probably have to leave..." He hid his face in his hands, "I'm sorry if that was so sudden."
Your face bloomed red, as you gasped quietly. "Oh, Magolor I..."
"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable! I just-" he blurted our for a second, only to be interrupted by a gentle kiss to his forehead.
"Thank you for telling me. I feel the same way actually." You smiled, holding a little gloved hand of the alien as he stared at you frozen in utter shock.
He passed out.
You immediately shrieked for the guys to come back.
